“Unfortunately our initial experience with the system is not positive. The lifeline system was incorrectly setup and linked to the wrong customer records, this was picked up and amended in the testing phase.
The following day the pendant was pressed in an emergency situation but there was no response from Lifeline and no family members were contacted, it found that the system had reverted to to the incorrect customer. The client fortunately managed to crawl to phone a family member and an ambulance was called and she was taken into hospital.
Lifeline have assured us all records have been amended and on testing the box it does now appear to be working as it should.”

“The fall alarm and service itself is excellent but be aware that if you pay for a year upfront and no longer need the equipment you do not get any kind of rebate for the months unused.
My father went into a care home in December and despite me having paid for a year in August there was no refund.
Not only that but today, having not yet returned the equipment, I received a demand for £210 for ‘lost equipment’.
I called to complain that perhaps a reminder to return the equipment would be more in keeping with the ‘care’ ethos. A disappointing and upsetting end to our relationship and unfortunately would mean I would not recommend to friends and family.”

I found out this just a few nights ago when I had to in the middle go to the toilet,
on leaping back to bed I must have inadvertently trigger of my device

“Was recommended to this type of personal alarm system by a friend of my wife who works for the NHS adter my mum had a recent fall, and after speaking with James at Lifeline who was very helpful decided this was what she needed.
The set up was very easy and the 3 test calls were answered within 30 seconds which gave us peace of mind.
Hopefully she won't need to use it buy we know there's someone there if she does”

“So far I am pleased with it.
My mother is still in hospital, so we are not using it yet. But have done a test and we are pleased. I could have got the same deal for £50 cheaper on line for the same deal. But I was given a £15 M&S voucher, so not too bad really.”

“Purchased one of these after being recommended spoke with James at Lifeline who answered all my questions and concerns to my satisfaction.
Unit arrived the following day plugged in and set up in around 20 minutes total that included initial set up call then 2 test calls I must admit even though we knew they were test calls the time it took the contact team to respond was excellent.
Obviously this is for peace of mind for us when none of us are with our mother hopefully she won't need to use it but we know she's got 24/7 help if required”
