Awful service on the phone. Five boards arrived broken and one pack was short by one. They wouldn’t replace them because it was past the ‘3-working day’ policy. We didn’t know of this policy and didn’t open the packs straight away as, with any new build jobs are in a queue, we were still doing other jobs before we needed the coving. This company prefer to lose a customer by sticking to strict terms even when their own product was damaged. The glue they suggested using didn’t work either and the coving was all on the floor when we arrived the next day. We will not use Leyland again. Do NOT BUY HERE!

Hi Claudia Thank you for your review, following our telephone conversation nothing was mentioned regarding the adhesive and the coving being on the floor when you came back the next day. Your comments were the coving arrived damaged, you forgot to mention in your review that you received your order more than two weeks ago. Our terms and conditions clearly state, its the customers responsibility to check your order and notify us within 3 working days if there are any issues. Why always do our upmost to give our customers the best service possible, as our reviews show.

£26 delivery for 2 plastic items that are under 1kg? This site is bonkers, please stay away from it. They were super sneaky at checkout, I realised after I paid how much it is....avoid!

Hi , thank you for taking the time to give us a review, unfortunately the amount we charge for delivery is what the couriers charge us. Regarding not knowing the shipping costs until you paid, the delivery costs and options are clearly showed when you have added the items to your basket before you pay.
Paid over £23 for delivery and they never turned up, tried to contact the company with no response. Eventually I had someone from the other end of the street bring the package to me as they'd delivered to completely the wrong house.

I havent received the products yet, and I'm sure they will arrive on time and be decent enough quality. However, it is absurd to pay more for delivery than I did for the order. What amounted to 4 very lightweight pieces of plastic coving cost £30 to deliver. Furthermore after updating the "County" in my address is auto-defaulted back to Express Delivery rather than the Standard Delivery I had previously selected, costing me even more. Additionally, I was forced to create an account for a company website I am highly unlikely to ever use again, rather than being allowed to checkout as a guest.

Hi Cole Thank you for your review and feed back The delivery costs are what we get charged off the couriers, as they are 2m lengths. When placing your order there are two delivery options you can choose before you go to checkout.
I ordered two samples of coving with the full intention of making a decision and putting an order in. At a cost of £15 I thought I’d get pieces long enough to really give me an impression of the final look. The pieces that arrived were no more than 10cm long. It gave me no indication of how the coving would look in a space and the cost for such a small piece utterly shocked me. Perhaps that’s the norm but I felt robbed!

My order still hasn't arrive as expected. I understand you have no control with your couriers. I have emailed your departure to made them aware about the choice of courier. The service of your courier is very frustrating. Bad customer service.

Hi Nelson I'm glad you received your order the day you wrote this review We can only apologise for the delay with your order as we dispatched it to the couriers' Dx Freight the same day you placed the order. Once you had notified us you had not received it, we keep chasing them for the delivery date. We do our utmost to get orders out to our customers asap, but unfortunately, once it has left our warehouse were in the hands of the couriers. Please accept my apologies Regards Simon
I chose Leyland to buy a ceiling rose mostly due to their helpfulness on the phone. The rose was the exact same price as several other Company’s had advertised, and the shipping a bit more. However, upon receiving the rose, it was just wrong in the room. The company policy was a 2 day return. When we emailed, Mr Challinor replied with one of the rudest emails I have received EVER, stating the 2 day policy and saying we were over so no return would be possible. We pointed out it was business days from receipt and we were within the window. We received the second rudest email ever grudgingly accepting. We have a huge amount of further coving etc to order....But it will NOT be from these people. Too bad because the experience on the phone had been good.
