About Letterbox Gifts:

Letterbox Gifts produce beautiful letterbox friendly gift sets containing British-made products, each being hand-wrapped in our workshop in Sheffield. They are designed to be delivered straight through standard letterboxes to avoid any annoying trips to the post office! There is a Letterbox Gift for every occasion, with each gift set coming with a complimentary greetings card which can be personalised with your own message. Letterbox Gifts also offer subscriptions, where a different Letterbox Gift comes through the door each month.

“Bought as a gift - recipient say it smells lovely .. good services … asked for delivery on certain date however arrived the day after chosen date. Possibly due to snow / Royal Mail - may be worth having option to pay for specific date - ie helps when it’s for a birthday gift”

“We ordered a letterbox gift for our daughter who lives in Sheffield - she had been quite unwell with covid and wanted to cheer her up. We chose Letterbox after having browsed "Sheffield gifts". There was a good choice of gift hampers available, it was easy to make a selection and we were very happy with the choice, as was our daughter when she received it. The reason for the four stars, other than five, is that the delivery, which we booked for the Saturday morning on the Letterbox Gifts website didn't arrive until the following Monday. It seems to have gone from Sheffield to Warrington then back to Sheffield Post Office, where it stayed until the Monday (the PO tracking app really worked well!).”

“Website and product we're great, but unfortunately delivery wasn't. The promised 48h became 6 days, as Royal Mail was used. Not great for a get well gift!”

“I usually have very good service from letterbox gifts , unfortunately on this occasion despite putting the delivery date as the 30th sept and ringing the company to speak to someone and check it would be delivered on 30th sept the gift was delivered on 30th August a month too early for the birthday …… probably not a good idea to order too far in advance , I was trying to be organised”

All of our gift sets are designed to fit through standard-sized letterboxes and the outer packaging clearly states this. “Really cute gifts, and easy to order. Also really great customer service! My package took a little while to leave the warehouse after I ordered so my get-well gift arrived after the recipient had recovered. I believe this was due to shorter hours because of the heat wave though, so I understand sometimes these things are unavoidable.”

Yes, unfortunately the heat wave meant boxes containing chocolate were unable to be sent for fear of melting, and also the Royal Mail service was unable to deliver once the temperature reached a certain point. “Service very good & really like the range of items on offer. However I sent the gift to the Republic of Ireland & I have had to pay customs charges. I didn’t see any mention of this on the website & thought the higher postage costs reflected this. Just something to be aware of.”
