“Didn't realise when I ordered that the item was actually out of stock until I had finally paid. When I heard nothing after more than two weeks I sent a reply - no reply Finally a month later I got a message saying it still wasn't in stock (I had found another supplier by then) and asked me to accept a slightly different bulb which I did. Not great service though, but it's only a £10 bulb....”

Hi Ralph , we are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience of shopping with us. As you may know striplights have been made obsolete so its now hard for us to find this light source , when you place your order if an item is out of stock a pop up appears before you place your order to advise you that the item is out of stock . I can see that our service team contacted you and offered an alternative that you have accepted. I have sked them to contact you once the original lamp that you ordered comes into stock and we sill supply it to you free of charge Best Regards Service Manager

Hi Jane, We have a dedicated support team here at general lamps, and they are friendly too! All you need to do is email them on support@generallamps.com and they will sort out your return

“I ordered a security bulb, it seems to be taking too long to get to me so I emailed them, and unfortunately they didn't get back to me, so I got InTouch with them through PayPal, I then got a response from them, but got my bulb in the end, so I have ordered a second bulb”
