“I'm very pleased to have found "General Lamps" via a simple Google search for the sort of lamp I needed. The site was simple to navigate, the communication from buying to progress on delivery to arrival couldn't be bettered, and the quality of packing in order to ensure that no harm came to [in this case] a 5ft tube-light was absolutely first-rate. I didn't need 'next-day' delivery, but the turn-around from ordering to delivery was well within the "five day" option I chose. Excellent Companies such as this go straight to my "Favourites" for future reference. I'll certainly be back, to make further orders.”

Hi Pawel , We show stock levels on our website at point of order, additionally before you make your purchase a pop up appears advising you that the item is out of stock . we do this so that customers know in advance if the item ordered is not in stock. I have checked you order and can see that it has been delivered , hope that you are happy with your lights! Regards Service team

“Product very reasonably priced and works satisfactorily at present. Communication with company not too good. I emailed twice and got no response. Eventually managed to get through to someone by phone. I just had a query about the delivery as it took a little longer than I expected to arrive.”

“Items were received in good order, although the £15 next day delivery was a bit deceptive, as I received the items two days after purchase (I did place my order in the evening, but being used to companies like Amazon, I was still expecting it to arrive the following day.)”

“This was the ONLY place that supplied a good range of lamps. I needed an unusual lamp for an old solar light in the shed, General Lamps was able to supply it. No problem. Definitely recommend!”

“Needed to replace old bulbs and this was the only company who had the updated new E40 version. Bought 10 of these large bulbs used for a large Agricultural Shed. Arrived well wrapped up and none were broken. Happy to recommend and would buy again.”
