“I ordered the Fairfield tote in tan last week Feb 2024. Its a beautiful bag, I have always loved big bags even though I am now retired and this bag is ideal for me, and would suit someone who carries a laptop or such for work purposes. “It’s very rare these days to find such exceptional customer service, but these guys nailed it! They not only helped me exchange a Christmas present, but also sourced extra leather jacket sizes for me, which they then had shipped from their warehouse to the bowness store for me to look at when I visited the Lake District. Thank you to Fiona and her lovely colleagues for helping me choose! It’s not often a company goes out of their way for you like this and it was much appreciated. We’ve purchased three jackets in the last few months and the quality and pricing has been fantastic so we’ll definitely be back for more! Whether you’re shopping online or in one of their stores you will not be disappointed.”

“I ordered a leather jacket that I wasn't entirely happy with and I have since returned the item. I have been speaking to Giorgina for the last few weeks and I have been very impressed with her help, advice and professionalism. She single handedly found me another jacket that I was looking for from their local shop and posted it out to me. I would highly recommend Lakeland Leather to anyone and I will use them again!”

“I bought my new Leather Jacket Nappa online as not in stock in store, fit is perfect, its the after sales where the problem was, it stated to treat the item, that's fine but not mentioned online or when I visited the store, wanted the Jacket to perform to its best, we received leaflet that said the product bought will come with free lint cloth apparently I was sent the wrong leaflet as no cloth provided, but please be aware, the products you need after buying are a better price on Amazon.”

“Avoid this company if you want quality leather that is going to last as it should. I bought a grey leather duffel a couple of years ago and unfortunately cannot find the receipt. I wear it very little as I have other coats and when I do wear it it is definitely not for strenuous activities. Yesterday whilst shopping I took a tissue out of my pocket to discover a huge rip. On further investigation I notice the corner of the other pocket has started to tear as well so presumably this is what happened to the first pocket and then when I put my hand in it just split. On further investigation I note the leather is thin and of very poor quality - quite ironic as it’s from their signature collection!! Obviously because I have no receipt customer services refuse to do anything- I presume if this is typical of their products they probably have a lot of refunds to be done and any reason to get out of it is useful. I am disgusted and disappointed at the experience and quality one gets from this company and I have learnt my lesson the hard way! I suppose at the end of day you get what you pay for and you learn from how companies deal with issues, so beware!”

“I wanted to replace a leather crossbody bag I had originally bought at a Lakeland store some years ago. I found what I wanted on the website and after receiving a prompt answer to my query about VAT I ordered the bag which was delivered to me in 5 days. I was impressed with the excellent, friendly and efficient service I received from Lakeland and would not hesitate to shop there again.”

“I bought a "Rydalwater" leather coat just over a year ago and I really like it. The leather is good quality and the coat is really warm and it looks good. However, something to beware of is that the collar is stiffened with wire. I didn't know that until it broke through the leather and stitching and cut me! Just be careful. This one bites!”
