“I ordered the black boots online as was in Bowness last week and saw th the boots for £59.99in lakeland leather they was £39.99 at lakeland leather online! I didn't realise till after it worn them that one of the boots is faded and looks like it's been blacked up on the front. They wasn't even in the correct box, it was another style scribbled out! I've thrown the packaging away so can't return them!”

“Excellent products and services. I ordered the leather care kit which arrived in a lovely box within days of placing the order. I have just purchased one of the ladies parka style coats which is amazing! I wanted to look after the leather as it’s such a gorgeous soft leather. I look forward to wearing the jacket for many years. The manufacture quality is second to none. I would recommend Lakeland leather any day of the week! You get pure quality if you’re prepared to pay for it.”

“A totally incredible company from start to finish. The items we received were of superb quality the sevice was one of the best if not the best i have come across, i ordered the wrong size and the company were so good that they payed most of my return postage when i asked for an exchange as well as paying for all deliveries. If you email them they come back to you within a few hours with the answer you are looking for, if you call them they are lovely very polite and from my experience look to always put the customer first. I will certainly be back for more items from this great company, keep up the great work”

“I was lucky enough to visit your store in York in September, whilst staying there for the weekend. I was overjoyed to find a beautiful navy/black leather back pack which I bought as a gift for my Mam. I was really impressed by the quality, truly lovely bag. Customer service was also fab, staff were very friendly and helpful. I was then looking for a 50th birthday gift in October for my friend. I was overjoyed to find that you sold online. I ordered another backpack , this time in black and to be deliver straight to my friend. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast. I was so happy to be ordering from yourselves in the knowledge of the beautiful quality bag for my friend . I also think your prices are excellent, couldn't believe the price for such beautiful products. Both my Mam and Friend are absolutely delighted with their bags, thank you.”

“Having ordered a handbag online, I received an order confirmation email (complete with the correct address) and subsequently a dispatch note with a tracking number. After several days of not receiving it, i checked the tracking details and it noted that it was at a photography shop in our local town. My husband went to collect it (I am socially distancing) and it had my correct address on the parcel and also a different address, 1/2 a mile away from where I live. My husband was told when he collected the parcel that the courier would have tried to deliver it, if no-one was in, they would have left a card and it would then need to be collected from the shop. As we had not received a card, we assume that a delivery attempt was made to the incorrect address. The parcel should not have been released for delivery with 2 address labels.”

“Really happy with my shoulder bag from Lakeland Leather. It was the only bag I could find that really suited my requirements (proper interior pockets and zip closures) and it's nice to support a British business that aims to source their products sustainably. Customer service is excellent - initially I ended up with the wrong bag but Paul sorted everything out quickly, professionally, and with good humour.
