“I was impressed by the choice of goods on the website and ordered a navy blue leather bag. A bag was duly delivered, well packaged etc but, unfortunately it was a black one! I phoned regarding this matter, and was emailed a return label etc. i returned the black bag and eventually received the correct order. This is the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. I am well pleased with my new navy blue bag.”

“Pleased with the speed of delivery of 2 bags as well as the style and quality, however, the zips have proven to be a bit of a problem as the tail end on one bag was sticking up like a scorpion about to attack and the second bag the tail end was tucked in which which made closing the zip very difficult. I think the zips are too long.”

“We ordered a small suitcase. Delivery was fast. It arrived faulty. However, I rang customer service who were quick to answer, clear with instructions on how to return, friendly and professional. Communication about their receipt of returned item was speedy and replacement item sent immediately plus refund of our postage costs. Couldn’t be happier with the service despite the original item being faulty. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use again”

“Lakeland Leather have now altered the sleeve length on two jackets. The workmanship is excellent and I would certainly recommend this service without hesitation. At £30 the service is incredibly cheap for alterations of leather goods. I was initially concerned about having the alterations done but you would not know that the sleeves have even been touched. When considering the jackets were in excess of £200 each it really is great value.”

“Our first order from you, and what a great start! This was a birthday present for my wife, so I wanted to be sure that it would reach us in time, and so placed my order well in advance. So the timescale of the delivery was never going to be an issue, but the package did arrive according to the time indicated, and on arrival was well packaged (no peeking allowed here!). It's too early to judge the quality of the bag itself, but both it and the small purse added to bring the size of the order up to the amount qualifying for free postage have been very well received.”
