“Very disappointed as the dresses I ordered stated that they were 95% Cotton and 5% elastane. However, put one on today for Christmas day and it is 67% polyester. I have sensitive skin so am itching. Have to wear it as have nothing else with me. SO upset..”

“Dress was beautiful as shown in picture instead of looking like a bag of spuds as I thought I would, I actually had the figure. The dress gave me the slim a line I hoped for. You get exactly what you imagine.”

“The mistletoe dress was disappointing. Given that my two other dresses from lady V were made from printed cotton and that pretty much all the other ones are made from cotton, I was were disappointed to discover that this was made from polyester. Also the stitching is not up to standard with loops due to incorrect thread tension. Whilst it has been pointed out that the description of the dress does say competition is polyester, it's right at the bottom and had to be sought out specifically. Given that I had assumed that all the dresses were cotton why would I even consider that anyone would make a dress out of polyester? All I can say is that it is not worth the £55 price tag! Fortunately I got it just under half price so didn't seem as bad. Had it been made from cotton I would have raved about how cute it is but although it looks pretty enough on, it doesn't feel pretty. One person even started saying "oh that's pretty" whilst reaching out to touch it then recoiled with an "oh it's polyester". I was unable to wear a net petticoat underskirt due to the static issue of net rubbing up against polyester. On the plus side, the service was excellent.”

Hello Julie, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you were not best pleased with your Lady V dress. We do provide the material composition on each individual dress which I do recommend checking before ordering. But I will pass your comments on to Management about making this more obvious for customers. But I am pleased to hear your positive feedback in regards to the service. :)

“The material, not being cotton, was slightly heavier and hung well. 4* as the neck line was rather low. Beautiful dress excellent price.”

“I love the quality of lady V dresses. My most recent purchase was the Christmas Lyra dress 'Tis the Season'. The fabric was heavy, hung beautifully, and didn't need ironing, even when it came out of the packaging. I had a lot of lovely comments when wearing it at a Christmas party. Will definitely buy again next year!”

“Delighted with my Christmas dress a fabulous addition to the rest of my Lady V dresses. I always get a compliment when I’m wearing them and the Santa one is no exception. Delivery is always super quick too which is ideal for this lady who always has to have things NOW!”
