“Unfortunately I can’t seem to get the correct size. Tried dresses in 10 and 12, found the 10 to neat and the 12 to big. Ordered a skirt I loved in a size12 and it was way to small. Lovely items if the sizing works for you. Sadly disappointed.”

Our dresses do tend to differ in sizing between styles, which is why we list a size chart against every items so that you can double check the size against your measurements. “I like these dresses although I sometimes struggle with the sizes as they differ within the dress types. From my experience it is better buy the Elsie dress one size smaller for tight fit... The material of the Lyra dress is very stretchy and soooo comfy, I want to spend my life in it :D ... I love the great variety of prints and types of Lady V dresses in general”

“I usually struggle to find dresses but Lady Vintage Ltd is an absolute gold mine! I brought two dresses with the intention of returning one but they both fit so well I couldn’t part from either! I love the range and options available and the postage was nice and quick! Would definitely buy from here again!”

“I love the dresses but wish you did the Lyra dresses in a version more suitable for shorter people. I'm barely 5'2 so it's a bit too long to hit my empire line and the skirt length almost reaches my ankles! I also miss being able to get them with 3/4 length sleeves.”

“Loved the dress I brought, it fitted lovely and I will definitely buy from Lady Vintage again. I first saw Lady Vintage in Debenhams in Lakeside, but unfortunately it has now gone from there. Unfortunately one of the other dresses I had ordered was too big and they hadn't the smaller size I had originally ordered. The return system is a bit complicated, especially if you don't have a printer, which a lot of my friends don't! You have to download the returns label from Royal Mail, it doesn't come in the parcel with the dresses etc.”

“So happy with my new dresses. The material and shape are comfortable and flattering. As a pear shape I find it hard to find dresses that fit on top and don’t cling around my stomach but these are perfect. Shall definitely be buying more.”

“I am size 18 with a large bust and The Lady Voluptuous dresses fit me really well and are really flattering. With many high street brands if a dress fits on the bust the rest of it is like a sack! But please alter your website - if you press Lady Voluptuous nothing comes up, you have to use outsize which starts at size 14. Something like "shapely", "curvy" etc and Lady Voluptuous would be more appealing and a better signpost. I don't consider myself outsize and if I hadn't bought my first dress in a charity shop and loved it would never have found you. I wear the dresses for work in an office about half the time, they're really comfortable and flattering. Most dresses are made for teenage stick insects - yours are made for real women.”

“the fit of this dress is lovely. goes in at the waist without being tight, has a belt to tie around the back which can cinch further. the straps don't dig into my armpits and it isn't too tight or too big around my bust. the skirt comes out in pleats from the waist which hides all of my lumps and bumps. the length is lovely. Will definitely be buying more!”

“I ordered the Elsie retro magnolia in your sale. Easy to order and fast delivery were great. Size and fit are fine but I am disappointed in the quality of fabric. The ruffle on the dress should really be fabric both sides as it’s on show. To be honest if I had paid full price I would have sent it back, cheap fabric but not cheap full price”

“Great quality Eloise dress, extremely flattering to wear (I'm a curvy size 14). I had lots of compliments when i wore it. Ordered and delivered within 3 days. The price of the dress went down the day after I ordered. Contacted Customer Services through their Chat system. They had no hesitation in honouring the new price. Will definitely order again from Lady V.”
