“The sizes were a bit on the small side. When trying it on I noticed that the fabric stinks of chemicals, giving me a headache. I´ll have to wash it to be able to wear it.”

We are sorry to hear that your Lady V dress did not fit as expected. We are sorry also to hear of the chemical smell. Unfortunately this is a hazard of the manufacturing process but we do try to let the dresses 'breathe' as much as possible to remove the smell before packaging. If you are unsatisfied in any way then do contact our customer service department who will be able to aid you in returning the dress for a refund or exchange.

“It's my first time purchasing from Lady Vintage and I'm so pleased with the high quality of the dresses and the speed of delivery! I got a couple of dresses for £15 each in the sale and they're beautiful, flattering and even better than I thought they'd be!”

“Very good but why send out packages clearly marked as ladies wear, not all your customers are ladies and when the postman has other parcels which need to be signed for it is a bit embarassing for a TV in male mode.”

“Brilliant clothes and brilliant service. My only small complaint is that an email to confirm the order would be useful. As a newbie it was a bit disconcerting to not know if the order had been received. I would happily buy again though as the quality of the items was exceptional for the price and the free returns a bonus.”

“I ordered two dresses to choose from to wear to Goodwood Revival. The one I chose was perfect. Lovely fabric, good quality, well made. I checked the measurements (really great that these are listed for each style of dress) and ordered a size up from normal as a result and the fit was perfect. It was packaged well and I returned the other dress with free postage. Brilliant service.”

“Lady vintage quality, designs, finish and service is excellent - size "Find my size" guide is a bit hit and miss but overall the main size guide gives good indication of sizing to cross check with. Recommended and very rarely disappointed.”

“THE 2 DRESSES I PURCHASED WERE AS EXPECTED.. TO SHORT FOR MY 6FT FRAME BUT MOST OF MY 50s DRESSES ARE, SO I ADD A 10 INCH HEM BUT IF I WANT THE DRESS THEN I FIND A WAY.. COME'S WITH MY LOVE FOR THE 50S STYLE.”
