“This was my second purchase from buy a lilt.com they were very fast in shipping yet the box arrived very torn and the hanger was broken. For those shopping in the USA, the currency symbol is for British pounds not euros so it's almost three dollars to the BP. Just for your information. I am pleased with the "budget" kilt and shoes I bought.”

“I'm happy with my purchase! The kilt, flashes (same as kilt), Argyll vest and Argyll jacket are of very high quality workmanship! The kilt fits perfectly and is not all thick, baggy and hot nor thin and cheap. Nice weight to it (my tartan called for 16oz, MacFadyen Modern), good seems and pleating in back, decent buckles and just excellent look! Jacket came with a dust sleeve and coat hanger. The shoes are wanting in quality. They will look great for a one day event I just don't think they would last long with avid use. I did get the cheapest ones (BRST) though so you get what you pay for. The socks (medium-cream) were light and breathable yet not too thin. Very comfortable! The sgain dubh (Luxury Safety) was ok. Good from a distance but nothing fancy. The kilt pin (Thistle design) is not shiny at all. My fault though as I didn't know pewter would be so dull. More like gray dullness but it does have good weight and looks good when placed with everything else. The sporran (light bovine thistle semi-dress) is great! Nice shiny thistle on front and soft hair on front as well! The chains and bells are shiny and match too! Overall I am pleased with this product and feel that it is worth the money. The little things that were not the best quality really don't matter in the end and fit the bronze category that I bought. I feel like the company gives excellent customer service as I had a few questions through email for them that were answered promptly, fully and politely. I would definitely buy from this company again! Have fun shopping!”

“I ordered several items at same time however I received one item individually and quickly after making my order. The rest of order delivered some time later. Would be idea to let customer know orher items not forgot about.”

“One waist button was just hanging on and there was approx an inch of stitching missing low on the right pocket. Other than that ,quality very good.If ordering add an inch to your waist size.”

“The Kilt was despatched in a more than timely manner , as we had a function to attend that was outside normal quoted times of seven to eight weeks, Thank you for your endeavours on that front. However, the Trews arrived missing the waist band button which for a 21 yr old university student was a tricky business, requiring a trip to an alterations shop and a small fee had to be paid to make him feel more "secure" On the whole the owner of the trews is very happy with the gift of the family tartan trews, made hime feel very special at his dinner night. “I didn't actually buy the trews I ordered and took delivery of them, but that is because they didn't suit me.However,the ordering,payment and delivery were first class, and the return was also very efficient”

“The King's shilling tankard came well-packaged and quite quickly after my order by email. There was some discoloration in the pewter inside at the bottom where it meets the double glass enclosing the shilling which I think detracted from its overall appearance and took one star off the rating I gave it.”

“My husband was really pleased with the price and quality of the outfit, all the free extras that came with the kilt and jacket were amazing, the leather shoes alone are well made. “No complaints about the ordering or delivery processes. My 8yd budget kilt in Freedom tartan arrived with some of the pleats quite heavily creased out of shape, and also some pleats not fully sewn in at the top. Both issues resolved with some tweaking and prolonged hanging, and I have to say it is very comfortable to wear, fits very well and is very warm in the current winter weather we have even in the south of England, where high winds in an exposed location make it challenging! Nice warm hose too.”
