“Very good quality kilt, brogues and Flashes. Great customer service as all my questions were answered within a couple of hours. Very quick delivery and packaged well in bespoke packaging. I will definitely be purchasing another of the persevere kits.”

“I ordered this for my son as a surprise. Although I'm happy with it I would have preferred this to be sent in a box as it was a gift. I now had to purchase a box.”

“I am ~190 cm tall and the long sleeves are definitely needed. I may have to bring the waistcoat/jacket to a tailor to have a tighter fit, but otherwise I am happy with it. (simply have to wait for cooler weather to wear the outfit more often)”

“Service and quality are good however I did have to sew all the buttons on the waistcoat as when my partner tried it on they all came off could do with a few more stitches to hold them on.”

“Was really pleased with the jacket. Maybe a little more care with quality control as I had to strengthen the buttons by sewing them more securely to the jacket as I felt they could potentially come off while wearing. This was done as no extra buttons were ncluded.”

“Ordered a leather kilt belt for a wedding. It arrived faulty. Customer service reacted promptly and sent another which was also faulty. Reason for 4 star review is due to the exceptional after care service. They immediately refunded the cost of the belt and I had a cobbler repair the rivets in the belt. All is well and the belt is excellent quality leather - all they have to do now is address the poor quality rivets used.”

“The bow tie and trousers were lovely. The shirt arm length was quite short and out of proportion to the size of shirt. However only paid £9 as sale item. All around happy with order. I did think that express delivery was quite expensive (especially when it took 2 days to arrive) and only coming from Edinburgh to Dunfermline. All together pretty satisfied though :)”

“I was hoping for this opportunity for feedback: This is entirely a +ve review. Firstly, let me thank you for all of your contact - v. much appreciated, always helpful, excellent service. Secondly, I will ordering, within (about) a month another one [the 'Respect blue thistle this time, but longer*] I regard (this is [intended as] complimentary, & no other way) what you are doing as [in business model terms] 'Primark'++ in the supply of kilts. * my only disappointment - my error entirely - is that it looks on me more like a 'mini-kilt'; I need one 2-3" longer - difficult to measure by yourself. I know, when I get the length right, I will luv the next one, even more 😀 Thank you.”

“I have a number of kilt society kilts of the size that I ordered. Unfortunately the latest one was nothing like big enough and I have sent it back. Some kilts from the kilt society are of a good quality and others less so. I think it is likely they have more than one supplier.”

“The kilt looks great. The sporran was adequate but the kilt pin was inapable of piercing the cloth. The belt had one of the loops break at the rivet so is less able to hold the extra tongue. I would have preferred slightly better!”

“Black Watch and Persevere Weathered Brown kilts safely delivered. Both required some attention with the steam iron before wearing, particularly to the aprons and adjoining pleats, but all good now. I particularly like the Weathered Brown tartan and feel at peace with the world when wearing it”
