“I bought a tartan knee blanket, and was so impressed with the quality of the blanket and the fabulous, vibrant colours, that I bought two more. The size is exactly right, and I use one as a seat cover on a two-seater leather sofa. Delivery was very quick.”

“I have previously posted a review but wish to add that the Henderson tartan, 5 yard kilt is magnificent. I am delighted with it. It is very well made,stylish and moves beautifully in use. Sending some offcuts of the tartan was a good idea; I am arranging to have a matching bow tie made. I'm happy to recommend Kilt Society. Thank you.”

“Pretty good experience overall! I'll provide a separate review for the kilt (which is great btw), but the shopping experience was also smooth, except for two minor issues. The package was shipped on time and arrived within a reasonable timeframe (to EU), but the shipping information was entered a bit later, so for a while I was worried there might be a problem. The other is that the package was sent by another, well-known kilt company. I have no issues if they're partners, but would be nice to know that beforehand. Thanks for spreading the love of kilts!”

“The website is very well presented and the product description very comprehensive. I have received my bespoke 5 yard kilt. It seems ok, however the unpacking experience was extremely underwhelming. I had not received any communication from the company to say that the kilt was being dispatched However, I did receive an email from DPD stating that a package was going to be delivered to me,from Isla Trading. A company with whom I have never had dealings. Having Googled Isla Trading,who seem to deal in inferior products,I concluded that it must be a scam. DPD delivered the package but not to the specified safe place. I was away on holiday at the time and was concerned to see from their delivery photo that the package has been left propped up against my front door, during a period of very wet and windy weather Fortunately, I was able to contact a neighbour and ask for the package to be taken in for safekeeping. I did not guess that there was a kilt inside the package,as the parcel was relatively flat and wrapped in grey plastic. The packaging and delivery experience made the unpacking a disappointing experience, even though the kilt looks ok. Probably dispatched by the actual manufacturer rather than Kilt Society? The company needs to up their game by presenting the finished goods in quality packaging The House of Bruar do this very well. The arrival of their products always feels like a sense of occasion, whereas my delivery from Kilt Society felt more like receiving something cheap from abroad. The actual kilt looks acceptable but the whole experience has been tainted by the poor packaging and poor communication. The company are not doing themselves any favours by dealing with customers in this way; we want to be made to feel valued and special.”
