“I bought this kilt 4 months ago, the pattern already looked rather warped but I assumed it was due to poor packaging. I applied gentle steaming and ironing, to no results. I kept from writing a review at the time, hoping that it was just brand new stiffness and would unwarp naturally. 4 months later and worn only 3 times for less than an hour playing bagpipes. The warping is a lot more pronounced, there's plenty of pilling and pulled wool, to the point it looks ridiculous, so I can't wear it anymore. I learned recently that this company is out of business, but they keep selling them on their website, which makes me think that they're getting rid of all rejects by selling, which must be what happened to me. So don't bother and shop elsewhere. I sent them an email describing this that was never returned. For a company still actively selling online I would expect emails would be picked up and some sort of warranty to be honoured for something less than 6 months old.”

“I had a quick delivery of a Jacket and waistcoat that looks great with my kilt, to be worn at a wedding in July' The final cost was agreed via a phonecall to their Edinburgh shop wjhere I was given a new member discount code. Very pleased with the Quality at reasonable cost!”

“I bought a tartan knee blanket, and was so impressed with the quality of the blanket and the fabulous, vibrant colours, that I bought two more. The size is exactly right, and I use one as a seat cover on a two-seater leather sofa. Delivery was very quick.”

“I have previously posted a review but wish to add that the Henderson tartan, 5 yard kilt is magnificent. I am delighted with it. It is very well made,stylish and moves beautifully in use. Sending some offcuts of the tartan was a good idea; I am arranging to have a matching bow tie made. I'm happy to recommend Kilt Society. Thank you.”
