“Speedy delivery and items as described. Good value. Only issue was tie and trews were slightly different colours but this was a consequence of different materials.”

“I made a mistake on my order, rather than go through the procedure with the post, sending it back for replacement, I decided to go to Edinburgh instead. I arrived the next day, and the replacement was already waiting for me. Very lovely girls, very helpful and friendly. Those girls need a trip to the Tartan Parade in New York next year. Make it happen. :D Thank you to all at Kilt Society, impressive service.”

“Great service. Very helpful when confusion over an order. Shirt sizes, not sure about this, as I am normally 44/46 but was way too small, had to go up to a 52/54 to find correct size, maybe sizing should be looked at.”

“Very pleased with the buttons for my husband waist coat. They fit perfectly. Slightly different from the ones on it so replaced them all. They came quickly to. Thankyou”

“Service excellent as I picked up the trews from the warehouse the day after placing the order. Emails responded to very quickly. Only concern is the fit of the trews at the back. The rear end was very tight in spite of getting the largest waist size possible. I have had some alteration made which has helped but it still felt a bit tight.”

Hey Alan, Thanks for letting me know. We have altered the design of these trews recently to have a straighter more tapered fit in the seat/leg. It's interesting to see your feedback on this not being great for you. I do hope that with alterations you'll get good use of these. ~Rachel

Hi Gordon, Thanks for your review, I'm pleased you found our service to be good. I noticed your address was in Norway, but also that no VAT was charge. To keep things simple we just charge one price for our items. Where this is shipped within the EU we'll cover VAT and where this is shipped outside of the EU we cover any duties and taxes where they apply. Apologies if there were any confusion. Your invoice however should be correct displaying no VAT. Give me a shout if you have any questions ~Rachel

“The waistcoat arrived on time and as described. The rating would be higher if the packaging had enabled me to open it easily and with no risk of damaging the contents. An envelope with tape around each edge requires a pair of scissors to open it, and there is a possibility oof cutting the contents. Can you find a less risky packaging?”

“Essentials 8 yard kilt is not wool (not a criticism, just FYI) but it was excellent value for the price. Brown leather sporran and stag kilt pin were well made and attractive. Shipping was very quick.”
