“The first kilt I ordered was delivered very quickly and was loosely rolled in a long tube type box. It arrived in perfect condition, I was impressed with both the quality of the kilt for the price paid and the overall service. Unfortunately, I had ordered the wrong size and had to return it. I immediately ordered the same kilt in a larger size, together with other items. This was obviously a mistake as the kilt arrived folded and packed into a very small box with the other items ordered. The kilt is an excellent fit but unfortunately very badly creased with the pleats, in many cases, folded back so that they do not sit correctly. I have no doubt that this was caused by the way it was packed. I have arranged to have it pressed, which I am assured, will solve the problem. This should not be necessary and is most disappointing.”

Hi there, Really sorry to hear the pleats weren't in a great condition on the new order. We've not mastered fitting our new kilt roll box into the larger parcels - but we're working on it. “The order came quickly. Unfortunately it was faulty. The problem was dealt with easily with a downloadable prepaid label for returning the item. A replacement arrived quickly.”

“Sporran received OK and the quality is nice and simple, but I recommend change the method of closing the flap to the pouch. The draw string from the pouch through the front of the flap is counterproductive--ie. the more ones tries to open the flap the more the draw string closes/tightens the pouch! I have modified by removing the draw string from the flap and simply knotting it through the front of the pouch. Then I fitted a magnetic catch to hold the flap to the pouch.”

“While the product is not as we knew it then in 1940. Modern workmanship lessens the authenticity. Never the less, thankful for the product is fine. Happy??? R'ds, Richard”

“I had a kilt belt buckle made through the Kilt society with my family crest featuring in the design. It came just under a week from ordering and I couldn't be happier. The quality is substantial and the belt I ordered with it is also of good quality. Top Tip; If you're unsure use the online advice over the chat service. They were extremely helpful in helping me choose the right product.”

“they replied stating that my requested item was out of stock and offered an alternative. When my original was in stock it was despatched and received within the agreed timeframe. I was kept updated all alog the way.”

“Orders supplied in a timely manor. One black mark...... Ordered a Murray of Atholl stole but did not realise I had to specify the style. Rather than checking with me the Kilt Society sent a 'modern' style instead of the style 'acient' that I required. It transpires that they won't swap it for the one I need. This is poor customer relations.”

“They gave me a reasonable price on authentic Scottish clothing. I liked that there was a choice of shipping alternatives and even though I chose the least expensive way to ship the time from my order being accepted to the time it arrived was very quick. I look forward to making other purchases for my Grandson who has discovered that he has family of Scottish heritage in his background and wishes to express it with authentic clothing.”

“Rapid delivery of quality goods. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the material and the sewing. The main reason I am not handing out a fifth star is that it is, so far, my only order with them. So I cannot tell if they got it right by accident or because they are really good. But I'll definitely come back here. Word of warning: I ordered - and received a 42" Long argyll jacket. My sleeve size for shirts is longer than one gets from a "normal" M&S shirt, but the 2" longer shirts have sleeves that are on the long side. The jacket I received was a good fit. i.e. sleeves not too short but definitely not too long. Therefore: when in doubt, go for "Long"”
