“I bought a side table to fit with my Kettler furniture. It arrived in sections with a pack of screws and bolts. At 83 years 8months old with physical problems I don't believe I should be expected to complete Kettler's manufacturing process. I'm trying to return it.”

“The very expensive shoes n lounger was delivered quickly but the arm adjustment mechanism doesn’t work properly and the backrest keeps dropping backwards. Over £500 invested including cover and cushion, really disappointing but not surprising these days. John Lewis fobbed me off to the manufacturer, waiting for a response. Will probably return as ‘not suitable’ and get the B&Q one for £100”

“Tried to order 13 replacement cushions after several emails asking me same questions I finally get confirmation of cost and delivery date of 7 weeks from today 16 may. Obviously they have no stock. Ordered cancelled”

“After making an enquiry and sending a photograph, I was advised to buy a certain type of foot caps. My order arrived today, and they are much too small. It is very irritating that you have wasted my time, after I took the trouble to ask for specific advice. Returning for a refund.”

“Overall bought 3 Kettler items, 6 chairs, a small side table and an extendable table but only the extendable table from Kettler directly. Why, because although current stock the other two items were cheaper!! All items are well made.”

“I have contacted customer services about the tracking of items to be delivered, as I feel it is overcomplicated and not on a par with other online sellers. I am expecting a delivery tomorrow. However, I recently bought a table, 6 chairs and cushions from a nearby garden centre - which was delivered the following day at a time agreed in the shop. I am very impressed with the quality and durability of those items. I have given 3 stars based solely on the online tracking situation.”

“I would not recommend buying the Elba dining set. The table surface does not last, the paint flakes terribly. The warranty from Kettler is not worth the paper it’s written on, they are not interested. I wish I had read other reviews before we bought it, so many people have had the same issue. Kettler’s answer is they recommend 3 different products of theirs to buy to correct the issue. Wood needs maintenance, we all know that, but having protected the table under a breathable cover & it being just one year old, I wouldn’t expect it to be in the state it is. I would recommend looking at other brands & checking reviews, don’t waste your money or time on Kettler.”

“Kath in Customer Support is rapidly becoming my new heroine. I had an inconsequential lost part which I raised with her. I had no right to expect to receive it, particularly when she told me it was not sold as a spare, but she'd see if she could find one. Yeah right ! 3 days later....BOOM, it turned up in the post. Give her a tracksuit and a helicopter and she could be the new Challenge Anneka.”
