“Brilliant but noticed they charged me extra for cut when I didn't have a cut. I understand why because I'm nervous and awkward and they probably thought I wouldn't notice but I did straight away. She said it out loud. Very upsetting”

“Sylvain managed to get my hair to the most beautiful champagne blonde after I had tortured it during the pandemic with horrible box dye. Beautiful cut and had a great time with him in the salon. Could not recommend more!”

“Anne Veck is the best salon in Oxford. Sylvain is an artist with a true gift for hair colour. I always get a great welcome from the staff who go the extra mile. I feel like I get great value. Thankyou Monsieur le French for my amazing colours. I feel like a million dollars.”

“Anne did such an amazing job at transforming my hair from a natural brown to a bleach blonde mullet. I'm so pleased with how blonde she was able to make me on my first visit and my hair doesn't feel damaged at all because she gave me the Olaplex treatment. The cut is also so good - she found a style for me that really suits my face.”

“I’d been looking for a new salon since relocating from Manchester - Anne Veck had good reviews and certainly didn’t disappoint! I wanted a much shorter cut and Kelly was great - very friendly, explained everything, showed me how to style it and most importantly did a great cut. Would definitely recommend and I will be booking again soon, thank you!”

“I recently had my hair cut, bleached, and dyed by the wonderful Kelly. We had an initial consultation where she was super helpful and informative and let me know exactly what would be possible to do on my already boxed-dyed hair. I appreciated her honesty and we quickly found a colour and style that would work. The appointment itself went really well and Kelly kept me updated on the process the whole time and even answered my countless hair-related questions. She gave me lots of tips to look after my hair better and I’ve already noticed a massive difference in the condition of my hair. It feels super silky and soft despite being bleached and dyed, which I’m super chuffed about! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend any other hair salon and stylist - thank you so much Kelly and everyone at Anne Veck for being so amazing!”

“Sylvain worked his magic again. He worked together with me to try something new and made sure that I loved not only the colour and the cut. Every time I have visited Anne Veck I've left very happy with the service I received. The staff are very friendly and take care of their customers and i will always highly recommend them!”

“Anne has looked after my hair for 20 years or more. The business she has built is a demonstration of the idea to find and identify what the customer feels about themself and show that via their hair and prevention of their face. Anne has taken this further in training many young people the craft of hair work, with colouring and adoption of the latest hair styles and fashions looks in Britain also from France. Somehow we have worked that out and as a man I have kept the look I need or like for myself too. It's great to see her operation keeps up to date in running her business using systems to save energy and use the latest kit.”

“It’s been my all time favourite hair salon since I moved to Oxford in2017. The stylist of my choice is the one and only Anne - I have not enough words to praise her for the magnificent job she does. She’s an extremely skilful stylist - I’ve never been disappointed. Her other stylists are also great (I have seen a lot of great work). The atmosphere at the salon is friendly - I always feel welcomed and well taken care of. I recommend it with all my heart 💜”

“I have had two incredible cuts from Sylvain over the past couple of months. He really understands my hair and what I'm looking for, whilst at the same time pushing me very slightly out of my comfort zone at times. I always look forward to my hair cuts :)”
