“I drove down from Yorkshire to have my hair cut by Kellie after my daughter told me how great her cut had been with her. She was not wrong. Kelly did a really amazing cut and I everyone was so friendly. I will be booking again soon. Well worth the trip down from Yorkshire. Thank you Kelly.”

“Had my hair cut a couple of weeks ago, and wasn't very happy at the time – I've left it a few weeks before leaving a review as I was hoping I just needed to let it 'bed in' a bit, but unfortunately I still really hate it. I basically don't like wearing my hair down at all now as the shape of the cut is really weird – like an odd pentagon that sticks out at the sides. The shaping around the face is all wrong too. This is a shame, as previous cuts I've had at Kelly's Hair (with different stylists) have been really excellent. I asked for exactly the same thing this time (which is not a particularly complicated cut), but I don't think the stylist fully understood what I wanted. The experience in the salon wasn't great this time either – the stylist was delayed with another customer before me, so I had to wait around for a long time, and then I had the sense she was distracted and rushing to catch up, and wasn't really listening to what I was asking. In fairness, she did try to fix some of the layering at the end when it was clear I wasn't very happy, but this didn't really address the overall issue, which is that the layering was all wrong. Friends agree that it's a really odd-looking cut. I'm really disappointed – I rarely have my hair cut in a salon as I can't afford it, so this was supposed to be a real treat for a special occasion. I wish I hadn't bothered.”

“Anne cut my hair perfectly as usual. It always looks fresh and stylish but natural, as I ask for it. My hair is difficult to cut because it's fragile, thinning and curly. The salon is joyful and friendly.”

“I have just read past my two previous 5 star reviews. Unfortunately I am disappointed this time. My cut is not at all as I explained, one side is longer and thicker than the other. It is just an old fashioned cut in the nape cut, bears little resemblance to photos i always show when I visit Kelly, and I’ve been doing so for a few years! All a bit depressing, and too far a journey for me to undertake again.”
