“Sylvain is such a gifted stylist, I cannot trust anyone else but him with my haircut and colour for the last 4 years! Needless to say, seeing his talent in action makes my trips from London to Oxford totally worth it🌟 Always attentive to his clients’ wishes yet proactive to offer very creative solutions. The colour wears off so well, it won’t require monthly visits to a salon, and his haircutting techniques are so impressive for both women and men, which is a rare talent! Merci bien Sylvain for taking such a good care of my hair and I would honestly recommend anyone to book a fantastic experience with you☺️”

“After having a disastrous experience with a mobile hairdresser from Didcot, I was left with a very bad haircut and badly bleached orange, patchy hair. This was at a time when I was about to start a new job. I did not know if anyone can fix my hair at all or at least make it look a bit better. I was in tears. I phoned the Anne Veck salon in Oxford and I was given an appointment with Claire. She listened carefully and wrote a plan of action, pricing it all up in advance and giving me an appointment the following day as she could see the matter was urgent and I was upset. She discussed everything with me and she reassured me that she can make it right. I was so relieved. On the day of the appointment, Claire was so attentive and worked her magic to make my hair look beautiful again. I am so happy I found Claire. She really saved the day. I would definitely recommend the salon. They are kind, professional, and have very skilled hairdressers like Claire.”

“As always: incredibly pleased with my cut and color by Sylvain!!! I trust him so much with my hair that I have started telling him: “just do what you think is best”… and what he thinks is best, is the best! Im loving the soft red hues he sprinkled throughout my hair. His painting skills are just sooo amazing. Go get your hair done by Sylvain!!”

“I had a fantastic experience at Anne Veck Oxford. After a friendly welcome by Anna, my stylist Kelly took the time to review the plan for my cut, balayage and colour, and talk through various options. I have come away with a great new look- exactly what I had hoped for, and Kelly also gave me some really useful hints and tips for looking after my hair. I've had lots of compliments, and I feel fabulous! Thank you”

“Had my hair highlighted for the first time in over 15yrs. Melissa did a fabulous job. She did exactly what I asked for which was a natural blond half head highlight. I finally feel more like myself! Thank you! Can’t wait to come back for a top up and hair cut in a few months! I would definitely recommend Anne Veck Oxford and Melissa was fab!”

“I booked a wash and cut, so the appointment should have only taken 30 mins. I was there for 1.5 hours! It was towards the end of the day and my hairdresser was running behind on their other previous client, but didn't convey by how long, or let me know this when I arrived. I had my hair washed and was left in the massage chair with wet hair for half an hour before it became apparent I still wasn't getting my hair cut very soon. They were apologetic, but didn't seem to appreciate that I had other plans that I wasn't able to change due to my expectations not being managed. I would have preferred to be told up front and given the option to do something else with my time. The hair cut itself was great, and they gave me advice on colour and a patch test, but I'm unsure if I'll go back now.”

“They say you don't date henna, you marry it. In which case, I can recommend Sylvain as a divorce lawyer! In our latest appointment we got the last of 7+ years of black henna out of my hair. Sylvain gave me a fun short cut and achieved a creamy blonde tone for the balayage I didn't think would be possible with all the old colour on my hair! He also did a face frame in my natural ashy brown as I felt it complimented my skin tone more. All in all I couldn't be happier with my hair now, I can't believe the huge difference in colour and condition in just a year. He's a genius!!!”
