“I had an absolutely wonderful experience today at Anne Veck Oxford with Sylvain. He magically transformed my hair after some thoughtful discussions, filling me with excitement and confidence. He truly is a magician at balayage and is attentive and entertaining through the whole experience! I can’t recommend Anne-Veck Oxford and Sylvain enough!”

“After being nervous to find a new hairdresser after moving to Oxford recently- I can’t recommend this place enough. I have just had the best cut and blow dry I’ve ever had. I’m very impressed by what Ellia has done to my hair! He also listened to what I would like and helped me form a decision that suits me best. Not to forget that prices were incredibly reasonable- especially being a university student! Thank you everyone.”

“I spent years looking for a hairdresser I can trust and I'm so happy to say I found one! “My job is to make you look beautiful - this is how my stylist started our conversation and that was exactly how I felt when I walked out. Thank you so much Sylvian! A massive thank you also to Anna who went out of her way to make me happy. She went next door and bought me a coffee (I did pay for it) and then it was brought in on a cup and saucer. She also let me choose the salon music! She is a great asset for Anne Veck Salon! Thanks guys - everyone is so friendly!”

“As ever, an extremely pleasurable experience. Kelly is a great stylist and she’s helping me through the transition to my natural colour with professionalism and humour. Friends often comment on the high quality of my haircut. I always receive a friendly welcome and it’s actually rather good to have the other stylists take an interest in your cut, etc. I always come out of the salon feeling happy.”

“I had a really wonderful experience with Sylvain! I hadn't had a (professional) haircut in over a year because of COVID, and the washing and styling experience was very luxurious and comfortable. I have thick curly hair and was looking for a salon nearby that had good experience and reviews from other curly-haired folks, and I was definitely happy with my choice!”

“The best hair salon in Oxford with some of the best professionals I’ve ever come across. Also the only ones who can deliver a proper balayage in the shire. “I showed up from out of town, taking a chance on this. It's a keeper: a friendly salon where Sylvain "The French" really listened (for a start) and then gave me a gorgeous French bob cut classic with a modern twist that majorly upgraded my look. Sustainable products are a bonus here. I will be back”

“My hairdresser was exactly who I needed in the lead up to my mum’s funeral, whilst COVID measures were reintroduced, amid this Oxford Omicron hot spot. Funny without meaning to be, great haircut delivered without chitchat, and a seat away from the Christmas vibe in the main salon.”

“Love Anne and her funky team. They always make us (I take my three children there now) so welcome and we come out feeling very cool and modern! The kids love it and won't have their hair done anywhere else now! Great cuts, lovely atmosphere ... can't recommend highly enough!”
