The product I ordered was competitively priced, however Keengardener sent me the wrong product (I ordered solar centre white led lights and I was sent a similar but incorrect "warm white" product

The order arrived as specified in a timely fashion. The weak park was the way the bbq was packaged in a larger box within which it broke out of the box due to insufficient packaging.

I chose Keengardener for my product because it was the most competitive price for a product I know well. I had to wait over a week for DPD to deliver whereas in the past it has not taken that long. The product arrived but wasn't tight. So I rang Keengardener & arranged for a pick up. I was not offered a replacement straightaway - apparently due to having to 'verify' the issue. This meant waiting for the original one to be picked up a few days later. Rather than wait I rang again to find out what to do next. The person said they'd now send out a new machine... if I'd bought this from another firm online, they would have sent a machine out to me straight away. Why did I have to wait?! The next machine finally arrived some days later but part of it was broken as though it had been damaged in transit. So I had to ring again. The options were I was refunded or sent a spare part that I had to fit. Luckily this story has a good ending because I chose to have the spare part which I fitted and all is well. My problem is that I would think twice before using Keengardener again due to how I was left with the feeling that I'd done something 'wrong'. When I tried to express my disappointment with DPD I was not satisfied with the response. But we got there eventually.

I bought a Bosch 65/34 hedgetrimmer which was the best price around, however it took approx 5 days to arrive & although I mentioned to put it in a particular place if I was out, it was put in the greenhouse at the bottom of our garden in no packaging but its original box which was very poorly taped up & dented as was the plastic blade guard. I'm all for minimum packaging but it must be sufficient to protect the item.

It is a good sturdy heater that will be fine outdoors, in the greenhouse. It is a shame you can't set exact temp you want on thermostat, but I knew that when I bought it, so it's not a cristicism. It is however obviously made for European market with a 2 pin plug, which was put onto a 3pin adapter plug for use here in U.K. That made plug very chunky so it didn't fit in outdoor socket I have in greenhouse. Had to cut off plug and fit 3pin so it fitted in socket. Bit tedious, Lucky I have a handy husband.

They didn't make me very happy although they responded well administratively to a problem. Their packaging is woefully bad. I bought a propagator at a very good price - it took 3 deliveries before a part of the kit arrived undamaged. I spoke to the sales person who added to the final delivery note, "pack well". It was still very poorly packed, but by luck, it arrived in one piece. It cost me time, but it must have cost them any profit on the item.

Items that I ordered and purchase are good. My only problem is the length of time it took to get to my location.

Sorry to hear this the delivery was carried out by DPD a third party, unfortunately the drivers are only insured to deliver the item to your doorstep so would not be covered if damage occured whilst loading the item into your car. Sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience.

Keengardener didn't make me happy. I know the product & the price to be good, as I've used it many times in the past. but the P&P to send 1 sachet is extremely expensive & needs looking at

Really pleased with my garden lighting overall, however, one glass light was chipped and I didn't receive a response to my email asking for help with this issue.

Bit miffed with the delivery delay. I ordered two 'lead effect' planters from here because the quoted delivery time from order was 1-2 days as opposed to all the other websites which quoted 7 - 10 days. It turned out that I had to wait over a week for my planters to arrive (although I did get an email a couple of days after my order saying there would be a delay so not all bad). Cannot fault the product however.

my order arrived in the time frame stated and was in good condition. My only issue is the postage, Northern Ireland is part of the UK and has many couriers who will do free delivery over a certain value. Yours was marginally cheaper than the competitors that is why you got the order, but it would put me off buying other goods especially if I can get them locally or from someone who doesn't charge for postage

The BBQ was delivered promptly by a helpful and friendly agent. However, the assembly process caused considerable and frustrating difficulties. Firstly, it was necessary to re-tap some nuts welded to the BBQ in order to fit the fixing bolts, and relocate some unmatching bolt holes. Secondly, it was impossible to connect a gas supply as the nut on the gas pipe supplied was a left hand thread and the connecter affixed to the BBQ was right hand. This situation was referred to the supplier whose representative advised us to remove the “left hand” nut and replace it with a hose clip over the thread. This fix was condemned as positively unsafe by a Gas Safe engineer. The matter was referred back to the supplier’s representative who insisted that the original fitment was correctly catered for after referring to a showroom model. We pointed out that this was impossible in respect of our BBQ at which point a spigot was supplied which corrected the situation. It transpired that the spigot was a part of the assembly but omitted from the original delivery (as was the gas regulator assembly). The result was a sturdy and attractive piece of kit coupled with unnecessary frustration and time wasting.

Dear Trevor, Thank you for your review and we are sorry for the difficulties encountered with your order. This is the first time we have heard about the issues with the bolts and fixings so if there are any replacement parts required please let us know and we will look into getting this resolved for you. With regard to the regulator we do sincereley apologise that the hose and regulator and the brass hose tail piece which were missing out of the box, this should have been included by the manufacturer and clearly wasn't. I would like to point out that I believe you have misunderstood our advice if the gas engineer is stating it is positively unsafe - we advised the hose to be placed over the brass hose tail and securely clipped with a jubilee clip which is a perfectly safe method of connecting the hose and regulator to the barbecue and is used for many barbecues that are sold in the UK all of which are CE approved and your gas engineer I am sure will be happy to confirm this. We are glad you have received your hose tail and the replacement regulator fits correctly and you are now happy with the end product and if you have any queries in the meantime please do not hesitate to get in touch. Kind Regards The Keen Gardener Team
