“We had a wonderful experience at Lambourn House. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday in style. The house was most comfortable - our friends were very impressed indeed. The pool table was a hit with my 16 years old son. I would recommend the house and we are all talking of coming back next year!. The christmas decorations gave it that extra special feel. The only snag was the oven was very slow and perhaps needs updating.”

“We stayed at river barn cottage in arundel West Sussex. Our stay was very special as it was a 60th birthday celebration for my husband . The family enjoyed the comfort of the huge barn , grounds and swimming pool. Everyone aged 2yrs to 60 felt so at home . Open log fire , 3 kitchens and a choice of many bedrooms made it such an enjoyable and memorable occasion . The seven grandchildren were all so upset to leave . Would recommend this gorgeous place for any group wanting a get together at anytime of year . Mrs v steer”

“The house was perfect for our needs. The games room being well used (hardly saw the kids during the daytime) and there were no complaints about not being able to sleep, so the beds must have been comfortable. It was a cold weekend and we had to ask for some adjustments to the daytime heating, This seemed to be the only gripe. This was our first venture in getting all the family together in this fashion and it appeared from the feedback we would all like to do it again. the beach and walks were very popular.”

“From start to finish the experience was excellent. We had a fantastic stay; the house was amazing and we all felt at home from day one. The kitchen was well stocked so we had all the supplies we needed, and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Nothing was too much trouble; we were a large group of 16 (inc. 6 kids), and asked if we could bring an additional two dogs; this was no problem. A fantastic property, and wonderful company to rent through; we have recommended to lots of friends and will use again. Fantastic!”

“Fantastic property, communication throughout booking was excellent. Communication with housekeeper, Alison, so easy and smooth. Then when we'd vacated the property, two forgotten items left behind were swiftly, kindly and professionally dealt with by Alison. Absolutely no problems for the whole booking process, the stay and departure. Our favourite bit: the 4pm checkout on the Sunday! Not many companies do this, it makes such a difference.”

“Everything was thought of, making our stay so easy. The housekeeper was excellent and even bought us a new high chair so we could have three for our kids. The house was beautifully decorated, every detail had been thought of. The kitchen was well equipped and there was tonnes of kids cutlery. There was even a playroom for the kids with loads of toys and books appropriate for all ages. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Thank you Kate & Tom's!”
