Tortree Hall a fantastic property for a family celebration. Confusing booking as the same property is listed under it's own name Melmerby Hall and can be booked either direct with the property or through another agent. Worth checking prices of different booking avenues, but still well worth going to.

We've just got back from a brilliant weekend at Meadowbank House. The house is lovely and in a brilliant location. The owner was friendly and helpful when we met her. I would definetly return!

We visited The Reach house in Egerton for my sons 21st birthday. The house was amazing we were greeted by Wayne and Emma who was very nice they showed us around the property and were at the end of the phone if we needed them.we also used Wild Garlic catering for saturday night bbq they were amazing very helpful and the 2 chefs who came were wonderful. They were so efficient you would not know they were there. Massive thanks to Kate &Toms for recommending them. The house was fabulous we loved the hot tub the pool and the kids loved all the games. We will definately be returning to this house again.It was amazing more than we could of imagined Thank you all very much

Excellent recommendations pre visit for catering. We used Salt Pig to deliver casual food for Friday night and Lyme Bay for chef and waitress for Saturday night. Both were great but Lyme Bay were outstanding. The property was exactly as described, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. To make life easier I would suggest a beer/wine fridge in either the kitchen or dining room of the main house in addition to the big food fridge already there.

Hi. Lovely house and nice welcome from Polly.House very overheated on arrival and with 10tog duvets all had bad night! Dishwasher in kitchen pretty useless..lot of stuff needed hand-wash. Otherwise all fine and we had a great weekend. Thank you to Kate & Tom's. Bob

A superb service from kate & tom's! Booking Hill House in the Cotswolds for a weekend was easy and the house itself was fantastic. Some useful information was provided prior to arriving and the welcome when arriving was friendly and warm. All the essentials were provided as well as some local produce and a lovely cake, which is a nice touch. Checking out was effortless and the return of deposit was very quick. On the whole, a fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone.

The Lake House was ideal for our family party. There was space for the children to run around both inside and out, and it was convenient for those who had to go to work, though remote enough for us to switch off. Though we self-catered, the house was serviced by the hotel, who rang each day to ask what we would like doing - all the advantages of both an hotel stay with the freedom, important with 5 children, of our own (large) space. My biggest criticism is the lack of consistent information before we went. We had expected to have to pay for the spa and for servicing, which was not the case. There was also parking for 8+ cars, not 3 as we had been told.We would have liked a washing machine, but laundry was done free of charge - we could have made further use of this service if we had realised how good it was. We were also unsure of whether cleaning materials would be supplied and replenished - they were, together with tea/coffee/biscuits. The hotel staff were wonderful and obliging, and the children enjoyed the buggy rides to the house after swimming in the spa. The allocated times for children's swimming meant that we didn't have to worry about disturbing the peace of adults. We never quite got to grips with how to control the heating system (we were very warm) and using an ipad to control the TVs was not ideal - I don't think it was working properly, so we could not watch different channels in different rooms. But we all had a wonderful time, and what was included exceeded our expectations; if we can arrange it, would certainly like to go again.

We stayed in a wonderful house in a convenient and beautiful location. It had all the advantages of self catering with the comfort of an hotel.

Ludbrook Manor was absolutely lovely and perfect for our family 50th birthday celebration. Location was beautiful, some of the bedrooms were amazing, leisure facilities really good too - the pool, tennis, table tennis, garden, TVs etc. Nothing significant I could fault, even the weather was great! There were a few minor issues, in order of importance: we were expecting 4 twin bedded rooms, as requested and confirmed by email, but only had 2. I offered to make the beds myself in the 'Well Room' (as they could be separated) if single bedding could be provided, but Phil said it was 'not possible and perhaps you could put a pillow down the middle'. We were definitely discouraged from using the table which is a real shame as dinning together as a group is really important to us. The table should either be removed or covered with appropriate protection. In the stables, it would be nice not to be greeted by 3 bins and a vacuum as you enter, as it does make you feel like the poor relation. Also, bit of a shame the hand-held Dyson didn't work, but then who wants to spend their holiday cleaning ;o) and the kitchen lights were temperamental and didn't always work. Just some suggestions that would have made my review move from great to outstanding (to match the price paid!).

We had a wonderful family 'Golden Wedding' celebration at The Barns. It was roomy, warm, comfy and really well kitted out. The hot tub was a huge success as was the games room. All the staff we met were helpful. We were delighted with our choice of venue.
