“You present beautiful houses in a most appealing manner... BUT, I really struggle with your emails as the contrast between the grey print and black background is insufficient for my tired old eyes - it almost makes me tend to skip your emails as they cause such frustration!”

“The accommodation was very good and the pool was a great asset, also the 5 acres was really lovely. I feel that pint and champagne glasses could be supplied. Also in one bedroom in the Kite house there were lots of sweet wrappers behind the bed, which I thought strange. Otherwise it was a great weekend. Thank you”

“Beautiful house in a great location. Only complaint we have is that for the cost of the house there should at least be the very basics for guests arrivals, i.e. milk and bread etc. The hamper is a lovely gift, however, if there was milk in the fridge guests could make themselves a cup of tea with the tea bags and enjoy the biscuits too. In the bath rooms, small bottles of body wash, shampoo etc would also be a great gesture. All these little things can make a big difference.”

“The Manor House is a gorgeous house full of character in a fantastic private setting. The grounds are extensive and beautiful and the house is tastefully decorated throughout. It was great having two kitchens, and two sitting rooms, we had a really warm welcome from Julie who had really kindly laid out the dining table for us - much appreciated. The only downsides were that the hot tub wasn't working for the first night, and there were some issues with the showers leaking through the ceilings. We fed this back and hopefully it will be fixed. A fantastic weekend though and hopefully we'll be back.”

“Nicely kitted out. Soft furnishings very attractive. Lovely bed linen. Plenty of bathrooms. Always a bonus. Variety of places to sit. Television on an awkward angle for viewing from some seats. No pizza wheel. Would have expected the grass to have been cut. Morning dew /rain didn't clear making it unusable.”

“Very easy and personable to deal with and kept us constantly informed coming up to our stay with regular emails. Very good web site - well designed. Definitely felt Kate and Tom's is a cut above the usual companies - so gives you confidence that the place you have booked is going to be similarly a cut above. And, our experience at Field View, The Ridge certainly did not disappoint.....”

“By responding to our queries & supplying information about our stay promptly & at appropriate times. More detailed information on the sheer extent of the kitchen facilities (which exceeded expectations) may have saved us some luggage space!”

“Cove cottage was lovely and in a beautiful setting, but I was disturbed to find one of the windows broken which was discovered when my toddler came close to poking her fingers through the hole in the glass when we arrived. Fortunately she wasn't injured.”

“I would suggest that you tell them that the supply of crockery, cutlery, 2 dishwashers and 2 fridge/freezers were very adequate for 10 guests and that the décor and facilities were excellent. Also the owners response when there were problems was very speedy. However, we found that only 2 keys between 4/5 'families' difficult and would suggest that a key safe could be put on the conservatory door and the gate from the garden be oiled etc to make access easier. The front door on to Woodmead Road was pretty lethal with the volume of traffic in both directions on it. I also hated the slope and big step down in the house at the back entrance and if guests are expected to use that entrance/exit it should be modified.”
