“I booked to stay at the Hollies for a Hen weekend and it literally could not have been more perfect. Every last detail has been thought of in this house, you can tell the owner is an interior designer as soon as you walk in!! Even the knives are sharp and the kitchen utensils are a pleasure to cook with! We didn't even leave the house all weekend because we were in heaven! It really is a special place and I would highly recommend it to anyone (hen do, group holiday, family). Thank you very much Deborah. Victoria”

“Everything we needed was available thank you. We particularly liked the outdoor activities. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. We would like to report, however that the fireplace step versus the end of the bed in the downstairs bedroom needs dealing with. Our 5year old granddaughter was walking past the bed didn't see the step, tripped and badly bruised her arm and head on the sharp edges of the fireplace.”

“Lovely spot and accommodation. I would however recommend taking mosquito coils for sitting outside as none are supplied and the property's position on the edge of the reserve makes these necessary.”

“We stayed at Churchill farm, the house was so lovely and comfortable we barely left during our 5 day stay. The facilities were fantastic and every room was lovely. The hot tub was a massive hit. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.”

“The location, size, and amenities including large garden, games room, cinema, and very generous kitchen facilities enabled us to have a very happy family gathering of twenty people spanning several generations. The housekeeper, Chris, was commendably responsive to any problems that we had. We used 'Dine in Leisure' to provide pre-dinner canapes followed by a three course dinner for our main celebratory day. They provided an exceptional service and dinner at a very reasonable price. What was not so good was that in many ways the house was in a shabby state, for example it was impossible to open most of the windows as they were sealed shut with paint. Also, although we complied with the noise policy there was outside noise from an adjoining part of the property on two nights, disturbing the sleep of some members of our party until 2am.”

“The cottage was perfect for us, well accommodating eight adults and four small grandchildren aged 8 8 5 and 4. We loved the spaciousness which was so good for so many of us. We have been coming away as a family party for seven years and we all agreed that this was the best holiday venue yet. We were looked after by Simon very well indeed. The grandchildren loved the garden. We hope to return.”

“The Oak House and Stables was a great place to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary . The beautiful surroundings and swimming pool made for a fantastic location for all the family. The house was large and spacious and we all enjoyed being together for amazing family meals! The housekeeper Alison and Roy were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Josie and John”

“House was beautifully presented, the facilities were exactly as described, plenty of space for people not to be on top of each other. Heated outdoor pool was fully enjoyed by all guests.”

“We had a wonderful family week at The Hyde. Our grandchildren said it all when they announced that it was the best house ever for a holiday. The Hyde is a beautiful house, and its lovely surroundings provided the perfect setting for the children to have fun and games. We were fortunate with the weather and had all our meals, apart from breakfast, outside. The children enjoyed boating on the lake and Lucy provided a great clay pigeon shoot for a few of our party. Thank you to the housekeeping team who prepared everything so well for us. We couldn't have wished for anything more”
