“Excellent service. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very efficient and quick answering our queries. “For pubs/restaurants you get a 'package', which in our case includes things we either don't want or couldn't claim for even if we did. However, these aren't things you can have taken off the policy, you have to have them, and pay for them, whether you like it or not. The only 'flexibility' offered is the ability to lower some of the sums assured, not that there's much point as doing so has no effect on the premium.”

Package policies are designed to offer comprehensive cover for a wide range of trades. While this means some businesses may receive cover they may not require, generally, it provides cover tailored to meet the requirements of a specific trade. Furthermore, as a broker, we have the ability to tailor cover, but if a package policy is available it will generally offer better cover at a better price. We always compare against multiple insurers and offer the best possible option available for your business. As for sums insured, there is flexibility to adjust these in line with your needs, which will have a bearing on the premium. On the other hand, reducing cover too much may result in you being underinsured, which could expose you to far greater risks.
