Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We apologise that you experienced a delay on this occasion. Upon reviewing our records, we can confirm that we spoke with you on 30th August and immediately started looking at our panel. Given the nature of the risk we only had one market open to us. We immediately referred it to the insurer and despite our persistent efforts, the insurer we approached was unable to provide a quote or timely feedback. We understand your frustration with the delay and lack of communication during this period, and acknowledge that we should have kept you informed about the progress and lack of insurer feedback. It's important to us that you have a seamless experience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Unfortunately the emergency cover provided does not meet expectations. Contacted the helpline on Wednesday 22nd June about a burst pipe at 1530, advised to turn water supply off and that an engineer would arrive within 4 hours. An hour later advised nobody available to visit property but someone will call tomorrow between 11am and 3pm. So no hot water, in fact no running water and a burst pipe. JUST EXACTLY WHAT AM I PAYING EXTRA FOR HOME EMERGENCY COVER?

No renewal papers sent just direct debt papers I wanted to add bit to my policy and had no option to do this, this year. very poor service

Dear Mr Pointer Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and for your time on the phone yesterday. As discussed, renewal papers were sent by email 22 days before renewal, but it appears they may have fallen into junk mail which is very unfortunate. We followed this up by text message the day before renewal to confirm whether you wanted to proceed, but can appreciate that this may not have left time to discuss changes having not previously received the email. We can make changes to your policy mid-term and will explore those that we have discussed, and will waive any administration charges relating to this in light of your experience. We pride ourselves on our customer service and hope that you will understand that this was not something that we have done deliberately to impact your renewal.
