Service is good, but the increased premium costs are unsustainable.

In the past year alone, the average car insurance premium has surged by over 60%, according to Consumer Intelligence. This surge is primarily attributed to factors such as increased claims, rising cost of materials and labour, supply chain issues and the impact of inflation. While we strive to keep premiums as competitive as possible, the unprecedented challenges in the market have made it difficult to maintain previous pricing levels, and this is being experienced across the industry. We actively engage with our insurer partners and will continue to do so on this. We also took the decision to freeze our administration fees, and costs of add-on policies, in light of the unprecedented levels of increase in premiums in order to minimise the impact on clients. I’ve used Jukes for probably 20 years always be a good price but this year was different almost a 30% increase will be looking around next year for sure

Overall good company. Let me down because the renewal emails did not mention Jakes in the subject heading so I missed the emails.

In addition to email, we also reach out to our clients via phone to confirm that they are happy with our proposal. Our renewal notifications are sent directly by post or email from individuals responsible for the renewals here at Jukes. I was a little annoyed after policy arrived and I read through. To find out I paid a £30 Admin fee. Which was as much as a 1/3 of my total costing for insurance

We are seeing a trend of premiums increase across household and motor premiums for the first time in a long time, and are working hard to find the best solutions for clients. it could do with some improvement in that the customers are provided with the most economical quote at the earliest time possible for them to make an informed decision rather than send out an inflated renewal quotation initially

Our renewal process is to write to all customers around 3 weeks prior to renewal outlining the best price at that time based on our review of the market. We believe this gives time for our customers to review and explore their options, and engage in further discussion with us where changes are necessary or where there are queries relating to the quote, including the price. Please be assured that no quotations are inflated, they are just a reflection of the market at that particular time. My understanding of your most recent renewal is that some changes were advised by you to us after writing to you, which did alter the price. We are consistently looking at how we can improve our service and will bear your feedback in mind. Usually very good but did call a head 3 weeks before renewal for an emailed renewal quote due to being on holiday at renewal time. Nothing appeared until a last minute on email on Friday afternoon to say my insurance would expire on the Sunday. Apart from that they offer a great service and find great prices for you.
