“I was very impressed with Irish Inspiration. Ordering was easy and I was kept up to date with the progress of my order of Patrick cologne. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged. As it was to give as a gift I couldn't sample the product. but if it smells as good as the beautiful box it came in I'm sure the receiver will be very pleased.”

“I absolutely love my orange peel cardigan. The wool is gorgeous and not prickly. I found the company on an internet search for orange donegal wool as I am nearing the end of knitting a jumper in the same wool in turquoise. The cost of the wool to knit the cardigan is not much less than the price of the ready knitted one from Irish inspirations and since it has taken me a year to knit the jumper it made sense to buy the cardigan ready made. Because it is hand loomed it has more character than modern machine made knitwear. I will definitely buy at least one of the roll neck sweaters in the future as I really like the style of them too.”

Hello Walker It's a shame for you to be unnecessarily disappointed when the sweater was sent to you from the knitters in Donegal, arriving via AnPost, the Irish postal service. We have known the McNelis family, who knit these sweaters for us, for over 25 years and love to put work their way. Whereas we are in the UK, all the sweaters on our website are genuinely made where they are supposed to be made. The Donegal yarns are from Kilcar, just a few miles from the little factory where the sweaters are knitted. Please enjoy your sweater - it really is a labour of love!

“I have ordered a couple of times and each time my goods were dispatched earlier than first stated and received a free gift. I bought the inis bar of soap this time......much better than any I got from the supermarket and smells really good too.”

“The feel of the wool is soft and yet hearty enough for carrying firewood up from the cellar. I like the way flecks of other colors are sprinkled through the yarn. The rolled neck, sleeves and hem make it always comfortable. Our French friend in Beziers says it's a Jane Birkin look. Not sure what that is, but sounds good!”
