We were extremely satisfied with our Homebuyers' Report. It was comprehensive, well-set out, easily understood and covered in great detail all the aspects expected from this type of survey. We showed the Report to a friend who is a building consultant, and has seen many such surveys, and he was very complimentary, remarking on its length and depth of information. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and, if necessary (though hopefully not!) I would definitely use iMyHome.co.uk again.

Found them online. It looked like a straight forward hassle-free fee agreed in advance service. When they book you in you can't know who you are booked with or contact them prior to your appointment, which is odd if you want to discuss details in advance. Then the selected conveyance contacts you and you have to sign a further agreement, different to the original one with iMyHome. I provided our conveyance all the required details for our valuation, which he chose to ignore. He also ignore all our conversations on the day and went onto over value our property (HTB repayment). I had to complaint to iMyHome who washed their hands and said it was between us and the conveyance. After much pushing our valuation went down and went through without issues with HTB. I am very unhappy as this is not people who do a good job, they just tick boxes, paper push and play it safe for them but at no point they are trying to impartially do a figure, instead they do what they know it will give them "no hassle" at your detriment. I had to do most of the work and then pay for it. TBH this is an industry issue and not particular to iMyHome and I guess my bad for expecting better.

The survey was done quickly and report produced the next day. However, I’ve followed up my email and telephone to get some further information about something in the report and I haven’t had any response.

Ever since I signed up with imyhome I have been getting a huge amount of phishing spam and odd looking emails direct to my main inbox. Prior to this I had been very careful in managing my email, so I would say be cautious.

Arranging the survey was very simple online. The price, although not quite the cheapest, was competitive and (unlike the cheaper surveys) I got a swift response. The surveyor contacted me to let me know when the survey would take place and then phoned me immediately after the survey to let me know the main findings and answer the various questions that I had. The only issue was that since I had arranged everything over the phone, I didn’t have an account login and so couldn’t access my documents online. Fortunately, though, the surveyor emailed me copies of the documents and so there was no problem. On the whole I was very happy with the experience, but have deducted one star to reflect the fact that there were cheaper options out there and also the fact that there was no clear way for me to set up an online account.

Straightforward to set up and pay, and seemed quick to pass on the details to the surveyors but the surveyors sat on the request for a fair few days. This led to delays.

Surveyor missed out key issues with the property purchased, did not send pictures till after exchange. Costing a hefty amount to rectify issues that should have been highlighted in the survey.

Took money up front & gave me a conveyancer who did not do any work in 3 months unable to contact on the phone. Still waiting for my money back. AVOID
