We completed our Civil Partnership last Tuesday 26th July, thanks to the excellent services of IAS and thanks to Natalie Dolan in particular, for assistance in organising for us the Visa application to allow Stephen to enter the UK. Without her guidance we would have struggled to get the required supporting documentation assembled, and she steered us through what otherwise would have been a very complex process. Natalie was positive and friendly throughout and guided us through all stages of the application to a successful outcome. Many thanks.

ISA is a professional organisation that is friendly and willing to answer even the smallest of questions. I appreciated their prompt responses and I would never attempt to complete my own forms. It has made the whole process "stress free" and was completed in a timely manner.

My dad is British and I was told that if he files for me my application will be denied. At the end of the day that's my father and where ever he lives am suppose to live too. I don't have one parent, I have two. It just shows how unfair this world is.

First on your website you claimed you have an office in Bristol while in fact it is only a weekly surgery. But my initial reason for choosing IAS is because I thought you have a physical office in Bristol in cases of urgent queries. I hope you update the correct information on your website. While the quality of service is good, the advisor often take quite some time to respond my email. If the advisors do indeed have a large case load , it may be sensible to let the clients know the expected waiting time rather than keep them waiting.

Before speaking with Ms. Susan Harrison at IAS, I was a clueless nervous wreck over my upcoming Tier 4 Student Visa. I searched for companies that I could trust and that would be able to talk to me about my personal needs, instead of answer general questions. Additionally, I required a company that was affordable, because the visa application process is expensive enough as it is. After coming to the conclusion that IAS was the absolute best company available (with the best prices,) I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they responded to my inquiry. Furthermore, I was impressed with their professionalism and how organized they were at scheduling a meeting. I explained to them my particular situation and concerns and they matched me with a lawyer that they knew had experience with cases similar to mine. I spoke with Ms. Susan Harrison and I was absolutely so impressed. It was clear that not only did she know exactly what she was doing, but that she actually cared about what happened to my visa. Susan listened to my blubbering case explanations patiently and responded with professionalism and warmth. She eased my concerns and gave me such great advice. Susan exceeded my expectations and so did IAS. I would recommend IAS to absolutely anyone that needed help with their visa, especially Susan. I am confident that Susan and the IAS team is the BEST legal advice/representation that anyone wishing to study in/visit/immigrate to the U.K. could obtain. Thank you for everything!

After hearing that a decision was made on our application, but us never having received the documents in the mail, our caseworker looked into the matter further and moved the process along. Her quick action in resolving this was greatly appreciated.

I went to the IAS for advice about an application for a visa for a family member (my former partner, who is the mother of my child). It was incredibly important to me to get it right. The first lawyer I spoke to at the IAS gave me some advice which sounded reassuring, but I was left with a nagging doubt, as I felt as if I was more familiar with the specific points of the relevant part of the immigration laws after an hour or two of googling than the lawyer was. Luckily, I decided to get a second opinion: I went back to the IAS, and spoke to a different lawyer. She told me the first one's advice had been completely wrong, and gave me some very different advice - for which she waived the fee. I followed the second set of advice, and was successful with the visa application. So it worked out well in the end, and I'm grateful to the IAS for some much needed help at a reasonable price. However, there are clearly some issues with quality control. The main lesson for me is: whoever you go to for advice, if it's important, always get a second opinion.
