“I did a 320 hour level 5 diploma. I enjoyed the course but it is only now that I've started a TEFL job that I understand the true value of the course. My employer was very impressed by the diploma but I didn't get any additional pay from it so I was worried that I had wasted all that money when something more basic would do. Speaking to my colleagues, however, I learned that there is a vast difference between the training I received and the box-ticking excercise other TEFL courses are. Many teachers have never done a lesson plan, or anything practical in-person at all and wish they had done a more thorough course like i-to-i as they are completely unprepared for the job. I got my job through the i-to-i jobs board and it turned out to be one of the most professional, and well paid, English language companies in Hanoi with a strong focus on ongoing training and development. Other teachers paid up to £600 to a third party graduate recruitment scheme to work for the same company. Yeah they got a week's free accomodation when they got here but you can get a decent hotel room for £20 a night so they were massively ripped off. I-to-i not only gave me the real training I needed for the job but helped me get one of the best jobs going after the fact.”

“Just finished the Level 5 420- hr Diploma. I have a BA in English already, a Graduate Certificate in Education and classroom teaching experience, and thought I knew it all. I was disabused of this assumption from the very first assignment. This course is intensive, comprehensive and well programmed. They cover all the bases so thoroughly and insightfully- and the tutors are the real deal… so helpful in their comments . I would recommend this course to anyone. I am a better educator, will be a great teacher for the wealth of knowledge I got from I-to-I. Thank you, tutors, customer service team, everyone at i-to-i . Can’t say enough good things…”

“I have been a University Lecturer in South Africa, lecturing Engineering Surveying to black African students for 40 years. When I retired, I decided to take on a whole new career path and a friend recommended i-i , after which I registered for, and obtained the 180-hour TEFL Level 5 Certificate. I subsequently registered for, and have just completed the 420-hour TEFL Advanced Diploma. With my academic background I have no hesitation in acclaiming i-to-i for the advice and continuing reinforcement they have given me throughout my studies. Every time I needed assistance from them they have succeeded in "putting the student first" - an essential component of successful Teaching and Learning.”

“To whom this may concern, I have had nothing but the Best in the form of support, both academically and mentally, in that i-to-i makes one feel that this course is not done until it's done, that it can be done and pretty much will be done, by you, the student, even if it takes two years or more. i-to-i has shown that me and every other student of TEFL will be and is supported right up until completion of the course, TEFL. This, with the latest and most up to date and extremely well-versed information and requirements needed to become a qualified and confidently, well certified TEFL teacher. “Good morning... My experience with i-to-i TEFL has been phenomenal. The support and personal interest taken by the support and academic team of i-to-i is what separates i-to-i from the rest and as a "businesses" in making sure one does not give up and pushes through. i-to-i takes a personal interest and in ensuring each and every individual doing a TEFL course through them, will see it through till the end and this is so much appreciated. I had personal problems and two months after my course had expired and was uncompleted, I was allowed to resume through an extension and received the exact same support that I grew confident in and accustomed to and more. Once again, my complete respect and gratitude for and toward i-to-i !!!”

“I really enjoyed the time I spent working on the Level 5 180h course, it was fun and challenging. The course has a very good layout with plenty of important information one needs to be an effective TEFL teacher with a fundamental understanding on how to manage your class and provide a high quality level of teaching. The staff are very friendly, helpful and know what they are doing! The course outlines all the fundamental information you will need to be able to teach students from young ages and help them succeed in learning English as a secondary language. It has comprehensive information on what is expected from you as a TEFL teacher and highlights a wide variety of methods and activities that you can use for a range of different types of lessons. It has useful information for anticipating and solving difficulties associated with teaching younger students, as well as older students, and focuses on creating a safe learning environment that students will feel comfortable in. It will also help you with implementing your ideas into your lesson in a way that is fun, challenging and fair for students. The assessment criteria for the assignments have a high set of standards but are very fair regarding what is required of the learner to achieve their necessary aims. The feedback was very constructive and detailed. It highlighted all of my shortcomings and was well presented with well structured advice on how to achieve my goals, and was especially helpful in improving on my ability to plan a lesson properly. I truly appreciate the work and effort that my Tutor put into my assessments, as it gave me a clear vision of my level of understanding and it helped me build the confidence I need towards becoming a TEFL teacher. Without a doubt this course will help you along your journey to becoming a fully certified TEFL teacher and achieving your dreams! I can wholeheartedly recommend i-to-i if you want to become a confident and successful TEFL teacher. A big THANK YOU to Tim Keeley and everyone at i-to-i for helping me along my journey!
