I was really impressed with the course and company until I received really poor customer service and a 'not our problem' attitude today regarding an issue with my weekend course. I have emailed a separate complaint about this today and am waiting for a response. Up to this point I would have totally recommended I to I but my opinion has been changed very quickly. A very poor customer experience and being treated like a number rather than an individual. I really think your customer support function needs looking into.

Good afternoon. My name is Michelle Ryan of Limerick Ireland. I purchased an i-to-i TEFL UK Course recently and unfortunately was unable to make the classroom practical course DUE TO POOR HEALTH! I had purchased YOUR COURSE for 199 EUROS. Now I was asked by you to write this review, and I would like to request that I be PAID BACK the money that I paid you. I suffer with Mental and Physical Illness, and because of this, I did not manage to make the course which I PAID FOR. SO PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU, I AM IN DIRE STRAITS HEALTH-WISE AND FINANCE-WISE. Just awful. I’m a qualified teacher and have taught in KS2 and 3. And even taught TEFL in Quebec. Communication with the company was a nightmare involving three phone calls; emails and live chats to no avail for my last assignment. Their programme hasn’t been updated since the times of Covid regarding the IELTS course - that really takes the mick. Then there is the inconsistent feedback regarding assignments. I did have one returned within about two hours but the others took much longer. Please avoid this company. They throw in too much useless information to meet any timescale and then make you pay through your teeth to extend and I think they delay feedback if you’re towards the end of the course deadline. I only wanted the accreditation as a tick box exercise so went to Udemy instead and got the certificate Ste within an hour for £15.00. Also, you can get copies of the assignments on various websites and to be honest I would just adapt those.

It was a stressful period of learning and completing the assessments, I now realise that the challenge is what makes having an i-to-i diploma worth it. It's a wonderful course. I have learnt quite a lot and broadened my mindset with amazing teaching skills. Thank you to my tutors, you have been fantastic mentors.

0 STARS 🌟 Please be wary when choosing I to I Tefl. They have an excellent course, however the marking process and the markers leave a terrible taste behind. I’ve paid for 2 extensions to the course only to be dragged on by the markers endlessly. My last feedback was the exact same as the previous showing that the tutor hadn’t even glanced at my assignment after the corrections were made. The lady at the call centre is rude and unhelpful. I’d recommend speaking with Ben if you’re able to get hold of him, if he hasn’t left the institution at this point but an absolute waste of time, energy and money. The email customer service system is no different I still haven’t received any help and they forwarded my complaints about the marker directly to her instead of resolving the issue and continually reply back with “the markers are inundated with marking please be patient” I am a day short of 2 weeks post submission.

It is the worst experience I've ever had in my life. Do not waste your money here. I purchased the 180 hr course and every time they failed me just to get money off the "retake fee". I asked for some kind of refund and no justice was served. Would not recommend this course doesn't even deserve a star.

Absolutey terrible serive. I enrolled and 2 days later i needed to cancel becuase of finanicial reasons its a month later and no progress if the take money off my account ill be in trouble!! everyone i speak has a very avioding nature and just past me on to another person.

I am not satisfied. When following the course information and examples provided, I constantly have to resubmit assignments and sometimes due to ridiculous reasons. I don't know if it is merely the tutors that I got or if it is the entire system. I don't think the tutors' expectations and course work and examples are aligned!

I'm using a five star review to ensure others are informed before making any payment. The last review I sent was hidden. Please, please, please do not make any payments towards internship programs. The lack of transparency on requirements for processing is unbelievable. Again the policy on refund is crazy. You will not be eligible for a refund even when the fault is clearly theirs.

It is okay as a course program if you're not in a hurry, have tons of time to wait for their feedback and 100% abide by their own terminology for assignments. Communications in general is pretty clumsy. I took the 180hrs course for 229€ (Level 5)

gave them a 4 star because of some issues i encountered with them.Things where going well,their communication is excellent,they respond to your emails and have your issues solved.They also do mark your assignments in time and give you an honest feedback.I learned a lot and it was a fun experience.Yes i did have some issues with my assignments but i learned to fix them and get things correct.My last assignment was a nightmare to be honest,although i failed it,thanks to Emily for trying her best to help me.The problem is they added another course when i was DONE with everything and my course access had already expired.I only noticed few days ago after i just received my certificate!!!!!! So now that i failed the other assignment and i didn't get to do the other course they added in last minutes, they gave me a 300 hour certificate but it was supposed to be the 420 hour certificate.I understand that i failed one course but for the one they added in last minutes and i didn't even know about, it is not fair at all!!! Otherwise i rate the experience a solid 8/10.

Both the Academic Team and the Tutors have been very supportive and patient, in particular Rachel Williams, and Emily John. My sincere thanks to both of you, and the rest of the team for directing me when at stages I felt somewhat stressed and uncertain as to the way forward. I look forward to an exciting and inspiring teaching career (hopefully), putting into practise the vast source of materials covered during my i-to-i TEFL courses. Thanks again!

What an amazing support structure. Best support. Would recommend this learning platform to absolutely everyone out there. Great job! The team at I-to-I TEFL really motivated me in finishing and sticking with my course. I am very ADHD and managed to complete my tasks and assignments with ease of their continues support. Thank you for helping in my new journey in life. What an amazing adventure it has been so far.

Initially I had a good experience with the company. Very friendly salesperson over the phone and everything was explained well enough to me. The course content was terrific and engaging - I want to stress I don't have a problem with that. My issue comes from customer service during the course. I got rather ill during the time I was enrolled on the course and was unable to complete it. I had spoken via the live chat and asked about a refund policy (I had in my terms of conditions a clause where if I failed I could get a refund). This was shot down by the live chat and a screenshot of 'updated' terms and conditions, which conflicted with mine. The woman was very friendly about all of this, but insisted that I must be wrong. So, I'm out of pocket an unfortunate amount of money, and no qualification to show for it. Again, like I said, content fantastic, customer care...not so good.

I have been a University Lecturer in South Africa, lecturing Engineering Surveying to black African students for 40 years. When I retired, I decided to take on a whole new career path and a friend recommended i-i , after which I registered for, and obtained the 180-hour TEFL Level 5 Certificate. I subsequently registered for, and have just completed the 420-hour TEFL Advanced Diploma. With my academic background I have no hesitation in acclaiming i-to-i for the advice and continuing reinforcement they have given me throughout my studies. Every time I needed assistance from them they have succeeded in "putting the student first" - an essential component of successful Teaching and Learning.

I am currently doing the 180 hour TEFL course and although I mostly enjoy it, I do have a few points to make: 1) there is no option to listen to the course via audio file which is not great for people with hearing impairment or those who are just better at perceiving information that way, and punctuation is awful on the site so using text-to-speech app just won't work as well; 2) each section definitely takes more than 1 hour which makes it hard to split your lessons into equal parts (I prefer to only spend 1 hour every other day on the course, and it's impossible for adults who's memory isn't as great as it used to be). Some examples are very outdated and can be perceived as insensitive in our day and age (e.g. as an example of comparison in vocabulary you chose "girls vs boys", well, what if your client is non-binary or trans?).
