“Quality teas that represent SERIOUS value for money compared to other premium retailers. Blue Lady is a joy - exquisite black tea with citus and floral revivers. China Jasmine - a black tea with jasmine is a game changer for me as I'm not so keen on green tea. Then I discover Japanese Cherry thats as juicy as they come without the green tea bitterness. Looking forward to trying Spring Tea and a Darjeeling Tippy that I treated myself too. Put the kettle on, bab!”

“We have been buying coffee and tea from Higgins for some 50 years! First fron theior shop, which as near our office in Duke Street and latterly by post. Firstly the serice is second to none - the arrival of those packs of specially parcelled tea and coffee is always a treat But of course the coffee and tea itself is second to none and I can honestly say that we are addicted to Higgins!”

“Dispatch and delivery are always speedy. Creole blend is our all time favourite. We think it is an excellent price for this wonderful coffee. Looking forward to a cup makes you pleased to wake up in the morning. We have been fans of Higgins for decades and they have never once let us down. It is only a shame that we are so old now a trip down to London and a chat with friends in the shop is now out of the question. Best wishes to all in the shop!”

“Bought some beans, looking forward to tasting the chocolatey/nutty kind I was advised to get if I did not like high acidity. I was given a prepackaged lot, something I‘m always slightly suspicious of, and even more so when I later noticed there was no roasting date on the package. My suspicion was confirmed when I opened the package, no aroma, sour smell and even sourer taste out of the espresso machine. All that for a hefty 16GBP for 250gr.”

“I purchased the sample tasting pack, which is good value since they include a £5 coupon. The package comes with three different coffee beans to try, which I thought was a nice deal. However, the taste was not as good as they made it out to be, which made me feel the promotion was more hype than substance. I also looked up the price list included in the package, and the coffee beans are clearly overpriced. I strongly do not recommend it.”
