“Overall the quality of these socks is very good, however, the one disappointment is that they are a bit too short for plus 2 breeks. There is not enough length to properly folder over the top.”

The only criticism I have is the cost of shipping: while I subscribe the other UK companies, their shipping costs (Royal Mail) are fraction of what this cost me. In fact, the cost of my purchase was doubled because of it. This seems to be a constant trend and worse if coming from USA to Canada. You could probably sell more socks if shipping was £3 and not 10£ ( which can be done if you check Royal Mail rates). I will considering ordering from you again, based on the quality of the product I received. Thank you!”

We completely understand your concerns about shipping costs. We do use Royal Mail and have a business account, but unfortunately even sending a single pair of socks within the UK now costs us more than £3, so offering international shipping at that rate simply isn’t possible. As for the mention of the USA, we’re not entirely sure - perhaps that’s part of Royal Mail’s routing process, which is sadly out of our control.

“I love these socks! I bought two pair and had them shipped to the US because I was not happy with the US made Thor-lo Boy Scout socks (the old knee socks with a red top). The House of Cheviot socks are taller (and actually hi my knees) and are way better!”

“The socks are great! I prefer the hiking ones over the pipe band ones, but it seems hard to find the exact products I'm seeking. The only complaint I have is the cost of shipping to Canada. I don't know if it's tariffs or duties or just a way to charge more, but the fees really keep me from buying even more socks. They jack up the price by $30 which is crazy.”
