I bought three plants and two extremely healthy and with lots of propagation opportunity, however the third (peperomia) had almost all lower leaves bruised and the plant stems were begining to droop. With a generous water the stems are now healthy but much of the foliage towards the bottom was lost.

All 4 plants arrived in good condition but I was a little disappointed in the small size of 3 of the plants given the price paid.

Hi Dianne Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the size of the plants received. We provide details of plant sizes on the website, showing both the diameter of the grow pot and the approximate overall height (although plant heights are indicative only due to the nature of the product). I have checked back on your order and 3 of the plants ordered were very small plants, in 11 and 12cm pots with little length (as they were trailing plants), however the pants should still have been as described. If you would like us to look into this further for you, please do contact our customer services team and send us some images of the plants received. Kind regards Hortology

Plant looked in super condition and appeared well packed but upon opening discovered a couple of the larger palm shoots which had been folded over to pack were broken which is such a shame otherwise I am happy. Tim Batchelor

The pots very received very promptly, well packaged (too much really, such a big box)! Two of the pots had slight marks on them, but not bad enough to return. They would have left the factory like this, not damaged during transit as so well packed. As I liked them, and I can hide the marks, I decided to keep them.

It’s been mixed . Good choice of plants ,good price and arrived promptly . Plant looked well packed but when opened quite a lot of the plant had bent or broken leaves and within a few days several leaves had gone brown and dropped off .A few weeks along I have lost even more leaves and more look due to go .

Some of the leaves to my plant had fallen off which I knew could happen & as stated in website description but over the first few weeks, some of the leaves have developed holes & cracked. This is after regular feeding , I’m hoping they get healthier

Hi Mark. Thank you for your comments. Please be aware you should not be feeding the plant at this time of year and it will need very little water. Excess of either will put the plant under stress. Delivery was quick no problems however the plants weren’t the best quality I’ve had from online plant stores. There were a number of dead/dying bits of leaves that I had to remove once the plants arrived. Also one of the plants had a broken pot and had fallen over resulting in spilled soil in the box and a wonky plant.

The web site was good. Ordering and delivery were all well. But needed more care in packing our order of Ceropegia woodii. At box open, we found some strings of hearts cracked and squashed together. It could have been better, I think, to line up the strings, loosly tie together and roll up in circle. May also needed support to prevent squsahing. Anyway, I guess you're the expert and should know how to pack better next time. Thanks for reading through.

My plants arrived boxed up and one was a little stressed and need a fair bit of TLC to get it looking happy again. Overall very happy with plants & choice available.

Hello Wouter We are not aware of any issues with your plant and you did not make us aware of any damage during transit. The vast majority of our deliveries are damage free and we check our plants prior to dispatch to ensure they are in good condition and health. However occasionally some minor damage may occur and we would prefer to know about any such issues when they arise. I three plants and vases and they look great. Fit is also perfect thanks to the guidelines followed on the website. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about my experience with the delivery. I indicated in the delivery notes to be contacted by phone in case they couldn’t find me at home but I have never received the phone call. I received an email saying the delivery was carded but no cards was left by the courier. I had to contact the courier and go to pick up the parcel to the depot in person, which costed me an additional 20£. When I opened the pack some plants were upside down, luckily they weren’t damaged. Still all this made the purchase experience less positive than expected.

Mixed feelings... I’ve ordered a plant pot and a Boston fern plant. Delivery was prompt and the items were packaged well. While I am very pleased with the pot, the plant didn’t look well and had a lot of yellow and black dried leaves...

Pleased with the 4 plants I bought. They are all super healthy and true to size. Packaging was good too. Update: so I was wondering why one of the leaves started turning black and I can see it’s because they just took a cutting with no established roots and stuck it in the side to make the plant look fuller.

Very quick and efficient delivery. Received 2 very healthy plants although they were both very dry and needed immediate watering. The spider plant seemed rather large for the pot it was in, so may need repotting very soon. There was also so much compost in that pot that it washed out of the pot with the first watering despite my best efforts.

Disappointed that one of the plants on my order was wrongly packaged. Was sent in a hanging container when I had selected pot. Meant I had to repot immediately.

Hi Wendy Thank you for your comments. We do advise on the website that the Pachira will potentially suffer some leaf loss during transit, despite every effort to protect the plant. The leaves are very fragile and the slightest knock may result in some becoming dislodged. However, they are very fast growing plants and the lost leaves will quickly be replaced. The easy guide to match plant size to pot was extremely difficult to work out. Ended up with a huge pot and tiny plant. It would be very easy for a computer to size it and offer a pot to fit, but this isn't an option. Will go to the garden centre next time.

Hi Kirsty We are sorry to hear you found our size guide difficult to understand. We also add tips underneath each plant and pot to help select the right size without using the size guide. The tip on the Fern purchased recommended a pot with an opening of 13cm, however you purchased a pot listed as having an opening of 18cm. Beautiful plant pots however the sizing is incorrect. I bought pots that matched my required measurements and when they arrived they were far too small and had to order the next size up.

Hi Anna. Thank you for your comments. We take care to ensure all pot sizes are accurate and measure them ourselves to double check the manufacturers description before putting them up on the website. In addition, we provide information not just on the overall size of the pot, but also the opening diameters for pots. This is shown on the website, immediately underneath the size option buttons, which helps ensure the plant pot fits the plant. We also have a size guide with a link from every product page. When selecting a pot for a plant it is important to check the opening diameter not just the overall size of the pot. If the pots purchased were far too small, I suspect you selected the size based on the overall pot measurements and maybe not the opening diameter? I have checked back on your order and can confirm the pots sizes for the items ordered are accurate. I hope this helps. Kind regards Sandra
