I’m reporting Horizons Music to Trading Standards and Action Fraud/Police.
I can see from other reviews that Horizons Music has already been BANNED by PayPal, Discogs and other third party platforms.
Shut them down!”
“AVOID AT ALL COST
This is 100% a scam, even if they use to ship out items, now the practice is to take your money within seconds of ordering and refuse to pay you a refund.
Neil Monteiro and Carolyn Colaco are the aparent company owners. Avoid these scammers at all cost.
Here's a short summary of my experience.
Website made it look like they had stock in so I ordered a vinyl but after a week of no updates I contacted Neil Monteiro (onwer) and was told to wait 2-3 weeks for new stock to arrive. Contacted again after this time elapsed and was told to wait another week so decided to cancel my order.
Neil agreed to refund my money after asking multiple questions as to why. Was then told I'd have to wait 14 working days for any moeny. Now this time has elapsed Neil has gone quite and has stopped responding to my emails. Clearly stole my money and refuses to repay.
My Bank, Trading standards and the police have been informed of the Fraudulent activity.
Please read other reviews from multiple websites and see the similarities in experiences to avoid the same mistake I've made.
Also see the gov.uk report which shows the company is only with £100, clearly not the large company its portraying itself to be.

“I cancelled an order because reluctantly, Horizon admitted they took my money without having one of my albums in stock. Now they won’t refund me for the cancelled order. I keep chasing them via email but they’re (Neil Monteiro if that’s a real name) just delaying. Reading other reviews below, it now seems to me like this is a badly disguised scam operation. Will contact trading standards to report these crooks.”

“Vinyl album in special color was available for pre-order; my order took 8 months. Item was a bootleg, and since I was overseas, Horizons checked in to see if it arrived ok. I have nothing but complaints... it was an horrible transaction. F**k you!”

“The record was listed as available but it was only until after I wrote numerous emails that the company admitted they do not have the record.
After I requested refund they confirmed that I will get it. Weeks went past with multiple stalling emails '10 working days', 'after this weekend', 'will check again tomorrow' etc., once I notified them that I have asked my credit card company to refund me for the payment, they stopped replying completely.
It has been about 5 months since then and still no refund.
Definitely stay away - thre is a chance they will send you the records you pay for, but there is also a very high chance they don't actually have the item you ordered, they will not send it you and they will not refund you.”
