Original purchase was out of stock, despite taking payment, when requested a refund was told this would take around 2 weeks to process, and would I consider replacement to support an independent business, so chose a more expensive product, only to wait another 3 weeks for delivery, without any updates unless requested.

Dreadful company. Advertise records as available, take your money and then just sit on the order whilst trying to source the items you have paid for. Then try to charge extra when they cannot source it. No communication and fight to not issue refunds. Absolute disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

3 orders now and every order they wait after the 28 days to say an item or items are out of stock and they will only issue a strore credit, therefore they take your money for items they don't have In stock. I want to clear my store credit so I do not have to use this company ever again

Ordered 2 x vinyls 3/12/25 for Xmas present. Recd email stating ‘ready to ship. Never arrived and I emailed on 16/12/25 asking of not delivered before Xmas, I wanted refund. Recd email 17/12/25stating one was out of stock and offered alternative. I emailed stating I would only accept if delivered before Xmas. Finally recd on 22/12/25. Would not use this site as very poor service and poor communication with buyer

I would not recommend this company. I ordered a vinyl as a Christmas present and was later informed that it would arrive after Christmas. I requested a refund straight away. Instead of processing this, I was offered an exchange, which I declined. The next day I was emailed again asking if I still wanted the item. I replied promptly confirming I did not and that I had already asked for a refund — yet I was then told it had already been shipped. Very poor communication and handling of a simple refund request.

I’m not recommending this website!!!!aware !!!!I make some order in November and I’m receiving parcel just end of November!!!!when if I make order to different website is was cheap and quick!!!!Terrible

I can not recommend Horizons Music to anyone as despite seemingly great offer on both price and availability- it was not true for me. Delay upon delay only to learn they sell what’s not in stock (and I’m talking about preorders) only to offer me their service of ordering from third party for a higher price. And when I had requested a refund they reminded me they’re a small business and to consider refund as a voucher - the audacity! I’m all for a small business but not when I’m feeling played. Communication was dreadful and I always had to milk the information from them. And then I had delay for the refund cause they thought I might have changed my mind. I am now terrified of buying from small business online or online in general as this experience has scared me.

Absolutely abysmal company... You find the album you want, pay for it, pay for 48hr delivery, then, 2 days later they tell you they've ordered it and it'll be a week before you'll receive it! Nothing on the website says they DON'T have it in stock. I don't recommend them and I'll NEVER use them again

Ordered a Mott The Hopple box set 28th July at a very good price. So good that I contacted them to ask if it was genuine. Quick reply said yes. Took two weeks to arrived and it wasn’t the box set (as advertised on the website) but a double album set. Numerous exchanges of emails and I have received the refund today 9th September. Not a full refund as I had to pay the postage back and they refunded some (not all) money by way of credit to my Horizon account. I won’t be using them again.

Slow, very very slow, took over 6 weeks to recieve an item that was advertised as "in stock" to be told that it would be "next week" then the "next week" then the "next week" and so on...should not of been advertised as in stock and available for delivery if it had to be outsourced. Wont use again. Maybe was just just my order or if others have faced the same issue? Only response i got was when i chased for an update, no proactive emails to inform me of delays.

Sketchy site which allows you to buy things that are not actually in stock but say they are which then lead to you being told they are about to get repressed. I managed to salvage my money by swapping my order for another vinyl which they did have in stock I'm thankful for that.

Awful service. Have hundreds of items listed online which are not in stock. Made me wait months for a vinyl then refused to refund me only gave me store credit when I finally got fed up enough to ask for a refund. Awful

Absolute clowns. I placed an order and after ten days, I’d had no update. I followed up and was told they didn’t have the record I ordered in stock. They offered me to exchange the record for a different one, or to use the money sent as credit. (I was not offered a refund). I selected another record from the website at a lower price than the original item (£21, the first record was £22.). I was then told this second record also was out of stock, but they could send a different version of the same album. (They didn’t mention any price difference at this point.). I agreed, then they tried to charge me an extra £5, as this different version was a higher price than the first album I ordered. Because this different price wasn’t mentioned when I was originally offered the different record, I refused to pay the extra. They did then send the replacement record as agreed. However, the whole debacle took time and a very tedious email thread before I got anything. I’ve been buying records online for over ten years, always trying to support smaller independent retailers. This is by far the worst record shopping experience I’ve had online- utterly shambolic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

long delivery time, they sold something they didn't have, they tried to pull another one, very arrogant seller, 30 days to return the money is unacceptable, I don't recommend, I advise you to buy from someone else,

I would NOT recommend this website! I did not get my vinyl. Communication is VERY bad! I paid 60 euros in total and i did not get the vinyls!!! You guys are SCAMMERS!!

Took my money and didnt tell me the CD I ordered was out of stock until I emailed a week later. They then tried to get me to either swap for a cheaper CD or get store credit. I asked for a refund and had to contact my bank to get it

Here we go again… I ordered a box set from Horizon. Ten days later I messaged them and was told that they don’t have it, never had it. They told me to choose something else or take store credit. I messaged them back to refund my card. The next day again, order something else or take store credit or they will refund my card in thirty days. Thirty days? WTF! Their business model is to bait a customer into purchasing an item that they never had to force them into choosing something else or store credit or to tie up your credit card for thirty days! No business ethics at all! I’m calling my credit card right now. AVOID HORIZON MUSIC AT ALL COSTS!!!

Do not purchase anything from this company. I placed an order for record store day 2025. It took over a week to arrive. I later find out these weren’t one of their approved partners. After emailing the company to find out when my order was going to be dispatched, the response was very condescending. Horizon Music were taking your money and giving you the impression the records were in stock (when in fact they were not) and then placing an order with another company - very misleading. I also paid for 24 hour postage only for it to take 6 days
