“Don’t know what all the bad reviews are about this company my experience is good. Ordered corner sofa on 15/95/21 delivery date was told between 25/05/21 to 08/06/22. delivered on 04/06/21 so on time total 3 weeks after order way so Much better than DFS I bought sofa from dfs last year took 6 months for delivery ok middle of pandemic but 6 months come on. Delivery guys brand new not just making this up they were attentive and careful carrying sofa up stairs delivery only so I unpacked and put legs on easy enough gave guys a coffee all good they phoned me the day before and one hour before delivery on the day then spot on time so all good there. Price £200 cheaper than anywhere else I could find it hence why this good review amongst everything else I talked about so all In all thanks home done to all your team”
“We purchased a flat pack 3 door wardrobe form Home Done.. Nowadays, most flat packs come with bolt and clamp instruction, this particular model came with screw and dowel peg construction which means that system is much weaker. It was a real nightmare to erect this wardrobe and some of the features, ie: back board and draw bottom are very flimsy. We eventually cobbled it together after five hours. Facially it looks quite good, but the construction is a nightmare. Should mention that this item is screw and dowel peg build. Sybil N3”

“Home Done were very helpful - initially, online, we could only order either the wardrobe + drawers or the wardrobe + bedside table. However after a few e-mails and a few phone calls they arranged for us to buy the wardrobe, drawers and bedside table. We would definitely use Home Done again.”

“Delivery was arranged well but a side of 1 chair was damaged. The customer experience deteriorated quickly at this stage. The Aftersales support was shocking and I wouldn't touch this company again. They denied the damage and after back and forth culminated in a measly £20 refund on a £750 product.
Be very cautious and explore other retailers as an alternative supplier.

“The customer service team was great. When one wardrobe was unavailable they spent time with me on the phone and emails until we found an alternative we were happy with.
The delivery team were great, friendly, gave some tips on how to unpack but looked at us like we were crazy when we mentioned that we will have to take the wardrobe up the stairs... that didn't kick off well.
The company did not offer us the assembly service, which was a disaster. Me and my husband have still not managed to take all parts up the stairs by ourselves now, three days since the wardrobe arrived. The doors are simply too heavy to even lift off the floor, let alone carry somewhere at an angle.
The most difficult thing is is that if you are not strong enough, forget being able to insert the door into the ledge for them to slide open as they are so incredibly heavy., tall and hard to hold still or lift. I honestly do not know what to do.....
3 days on... 6 hours of uninterrupted labour plus 1 more hour the next day and we have assembled the shelves and the carcas of the wardrobe....the doors are still laying downstairs....
I wish this:
- The instructions (the images) were unclear and in some cases even wrong. I.e. it would not show all you had to do and instead showed you 10%, thinking that you can clearly figure out the rest by yourself. Even the IKEA instructions are better made.
- I wish there was an assembly service or a helpline or a handyman they could offer to lift things - when an item is THAT heavy, there is no way a customer can be expected to lift it ontheir own and put it together. No way.
Overall. Disappointed, angry, pulled my back muscle, scraped my fingers, have cuts on my fingers, I literally counted 12 cuts on my fingers that all bled a little! from handling the rough cut carcas of the wardrobe and getting splinters everywhere.
Just cheap... don't recommend. Dont even know what to do now with it”
“Service somewhat disappointing. The delivery driver woke me at 6am, with the email informing me of the 6am delivery timed at 10.01am the same day.
In addition, there were no stickers on the headboard to indicate the position of the bolt holes for the uprights.”

“Goods arrived very prompt (next day) but on opening the box to assemble the chairs I discovered one of the inner poles used to connect the back was damaged and stuck in the inner pole meaning that it was impossible to put together. On inspection of the 2nd chair I discovered numerous scuffs and scrapes. I repacked the chairs back in the box and found different parcel tape had been used over the original and a place where a different address label had been attached and pulled off. This was the reason for such prompt delivery, they had sent us chairs which had obviously been damaged and returned and then sent to us as new!! I contacted the suppler to complain, return and obtain a refund. I received an apology email and sent the requested photos of the damage but I am still waiting to hear almost a week later of further details of how to return and get my refund. Very disappointed and irrate at these shoddy goods and very poor customer service. Beware!”
