“Some confusion about what Home AV could or could not do for me. Phone call said one thing and then things turned out differently and I was stuck with a situation I was not looking for. Asked for assistant with whom I had agreed originally to call me back for three days but did not happen which lead to the problem, mostly. However, in the end I have an AV receiver and it works, just not the one I wanted and not a good one in my opinion and that of others. An Onkyo TX-NR575 that is a bit too powerful for my room and does not get going until it is too loud. However, in the end I am not really badly off, obviously and I do have surround sound off the TV, CD and games so happy enough despite the size of the unit. However, I did not get sent the HDMI lead free that was advertised with the receiver either. Oh the highs and lows of hunter gathering in the early C21.”

“The item, a Bose SoundTouch, arrived in perfect condition. The post office delivery service hiccuped in routing it incorrectly but immediately recognised the error and re-routed immediately. Even so the item arrived within 3 days, which was fine. Ordering from AV Direct was straightforward.”
