“I was waiting for a while on arrival for my driver (it was a shared shuttle). The prices were too expensive for a private transfer as I was an hour from the airport. On the return transfer, it was a strange vehicle, not a minibus. The driver opened the back door and there were two long seats for 3 people facing each other where your legs had to be entangled with the person opposite. Inappropriate and uncomfortable. I am a Spanish speaker and so I spoke to the driver about it and asked to sit in front as I was absolutely not comfortable with this seating arrangement. It was horrible.”
“When we got the transfer, the driver told us it wasn?t ours even though we had reference, then told us it wasn?t at the correct point even though the email and text message saying hotel pick up, driver was going to leave but told him we was in the right place and we was the people he was picking up”
“Cheap and get what you pay for - did the job. We sat on the car park outside the airport for over half an hour despite being full and eventually another coach driver asked our driver to move so we set off. Transfer was set as under an hour but took almost 2. Nobodies fault of course if lots of drops but meant we missed our booking and did not get to our hotel till around 11pm despite landing at 6:50pm. Way back was great, picked up on time and in the airport within 25 minutes.”
“Used this service to book a return transfer from Enfidha airport to our hotel and back again after 10 days. The journey itself was fine and the drivers on both occasions were professional. But on arrival we were one of 8 coaches and one by one they all left. Our coach was delayed leaving the airport by 55 minutes due to 2 passengers making a complaint inside the airport. We had a full coach and as a result all lost out on dinner that evening at our hotels. It would have been sensible to allow the coach to leave and the 2 passengers to be transferred separately by taxi. But the company chose to delay 50-60 passengers for the sake of 2. Our stop was number 8 of 9 and all other passengers were dropped right outside their hotel. Right up to the entrance doors in most cases. We were dropped off in a side street across the road from the hotel. It was a busy junction we had to cross ourselves with all our luggage at 11.45pm at night. Not good.”
“Disappointing for once - had to contact car company on both the outward and return trips. Car that turned up both times was an Uber so would have been easier to book direct though Uber themselves.”
“Booked private transfer but no ac in car. Driver said the company knew the ac was broke but sent the car anyway. 38c with 2 small children is not pleasant.”
“The airport pick up went well but when our flight was cancelled holiday taxis failed to step up. We had one days notice of the cancellation and the local supplier called and confirmed they could cancel the pick up. They told me I would have to go through HT to re arrange. HT said I would have to cancel the booking without refund and book again. As such won't use them again apparently holiday taxis response is i got angry with their operator. if declining to pay for a new booking saying i would get my own transport is their idea of getting angry perhaps they need career advice”
“I called the support in England to add a child seat and the operator spent 15 minutes trying to upgrade the car. At the end, I paid for the child sit and I didn't find it in the car. At the moment I'm still waiting for the refund of 9? for the missing child seat”
“Have emailed the company over a week ago for benefit of doubt however no response so will leave review now. Outward journey fine- check in at airport easy and taxi pulled up outside. Large taxi for just the 3 of us and quick trip to hotel door. Return journey- small cab arrived, no room for the luggage which we had booked for 4x cases. We only had 3 cases and 1 carry on case. So well within the allowance. Taxi driver was very rude and arrogant and took the cases out of her boot and drove off saying another taxi would come. About 20 mins later another taxi, large one like the outbound trip, arrived. He was friendly, took all out luggage and off to the airport. This was not without and additional charge though? we had already paid over ?50 for our trip but as they sent another taxi they charged us an additional ?15. So really, a bit of a scam?. Would think twice about using this company again”
“Firstly paid ?108 for each journey. Discovered at airport could have just grabbed a cab and cost would have been ?86. Cab was a filthy smelly yellow mini bus Return journey was far too early for flight. Flight at 18.30 they wanted to pick up at 12 15. Taxi arrived 12.50. Stranded at sieport with luggage for 2 1/2 hours unable to go anywhere! Have used holiday taxis all over the world never had a problem before.”
“Pick up was fine... Return really messed up by my last holiday plans, given they had my flight number correct for an after 3.30pm flight..I was expecting a pick up time around 1pm or at earliest 11am... When it was available to see I see it was for 9am ..to which I contacted online to ask why its so early an can it be changed ..they said no as its a shuttle service already booked and suggested I could get a private taxi ..which obviously if I paid for a service I'm not going yo go an pay extra because of their mess up...so had to cut my previous night plans short to be up for pick up....get picked up in car ,and only 1 other passenger after ... getting to the airport for b4 10am..so wasting the rest of my last few hours at an airport for practically 4pm flight ..never had this experience with holidays transfers they normally work out maybe 2-3hour window before your flight and arrival”
“We were booked with Leisure Tours. Upon arrival there was confusion with the drivers on which vehicle my husband and I and one other family would be riding in. We were left on one vehicle with no explanation, then told to change vehicles where we were left again with gospel music playing. I have absolutely no problem with gospel music, but it isn?t the most welcoming way to begin a trip to the Caribbean. We just made it through customs. It was time to unwind and relax. On the way back was worse. I called the company the day before to confirm pick up. The shuttle was still late to the point we had to call back to confirm again. Once we were able to board the bus, I glanced at the passenger arrangement while I showed my email confirmation to the driver. He was immediately annoyed I didn?t have it printed out. On my first glance, the bus looked full with the exception of two seats that were not next to each other. I confirmed with the driver that my husband and I were the last to be picked up and said yes. I went to flip the aisle seat down so that he and I would be together. The driver pointed at the two seats that were not together and said we could sit there. I asked why we couldn?t sit where I was choosing and he responded along the lines of ?what if I hit a bump?. I told the driver we?d rather sit together and since I had to take another look at the passenger arrangement to notice what he pointed out, I saw two seats in the back for us. We went to sit in the back and the bus driver looked at me is if I was giving trouble. Once we were seated he said in a sarcastic voice, ?I knew you?d find somewhere to sit? and stared at us as if his patience was tried. A few people on the bus laughed which made it worse. Once we got to the terminal, he didn?t even offer to help with our bags. Though the ride to our resort was no where as offensive as the ride back, neither was a pleasant way to begin or end a vacation.”
“Not a very good booking experience, was asked to reconfirm booking details, sent me back on to the booking site and ended up making a duplicate booking and paying twice. Luckily been refunded, But a messy experience, also sat on the transfer coach for one HOUR at Alicante airport before we set off. Wont use again.”
“we were not dropped off at our hote; but two or three streets away/ It tookl us over half an hour to find our hotel. Globales Acuario has a back door almost ona bus stop. PLEASE TELL US WHERE WE WILL BE PICKED UP ON OUR RETURN”
“The pickup time given was 07.50 for OUTSIDE a hotel. At 08.10 I called the travel company, who said they had scheduled a time of 08.30 for my pickup. At 08.45 the driver appeared from the hotel and finally picked me up. Again, Holiday Taxis do not cater for people not staying in a hotel and drivers do not understand OUTSIDE”
“When we arrived at Faro airport there was no taxi driver and i had to ring the emergency number and had to wait too long in my opinion we landed late so he should of been there, then he could not get out of the car park because his ticket had run out of money. I was not happy. How ever the driver that collected us at 04.30 in the morning was brilliant and prompt so thank you to that driver.”
“If I had selected 5 stars, I would have not been able to input a response. ? Arrival pickup from Dalaman Airport to Oludeniz was unacceptable due to the fact that you did not have a driver assigned to take us there - a driver from another company volunteered to take us - Geordie John. We also believe that a sweat shirt was accidentally left in the back seat of the vehicle. ? Pick up from Montebello Resort to Dalaman Airport...the driver was dangerous on the road, considering that he had 3 passengers inside, his erratic driving was a cause for concern.”
