“The service received for the two trips was very different.
The first trip from the airport to our accommodation was very good, with the ideal child seat provided, and the driver gave us local information during the journey.
The return trip was totally unsatisfactory. The driver arrived with a wholly unsuitable child seat. It was for a much older child. This put the safety of our infant at an unacceptable risk. The age requirements for the child seat were clearly defined in my booking.”
“Driver was late picking us up my friend and I walked around twice in airport, you rang me twice asking where we was,we was at pick up point in airport.when we found him he had board under his arm with our name on and was in his phone we had to ask him if he was our driver.when we got in his car he was texting and on the phone all the way to the hotel why driving this was not acceptable and dangerous”
“Bus would not start on arrival was asked to get off the bus. These things happen however I was singled out as I was travelling alone and told I would have to get a latter bus making my arrival time at my hotel 1630 instead of 1400 very disappointed.”
“Great price (£10). However from my flight landing to my drop off took 2.5hours. By car it takes 1hr. I rang ahead to ensure my drop off was close to my guesthouse - ut the coach could not drop me so I had to pay another £20 to get a taxi there. Not good!”
“Usually very reliable service. The transfer was 20 minutes late turning up. I called when it was 15 minutes late and was told the driver was "running a bit late". The vehicle was dirty, paintwork scraped and with a broken seatbelt. However we stopped on the main road out of Marmaris,,,,,and waited. Eventually a large coach from another company stopped and we joined the other passengers, by this point we were an hour late. My flight was delayed and I only had hand luggage so was still in time for the flight. However, this made the return journey far more stressful that it needed to be and I was annoyed that I was not given a full explanation when I called (to a native English speaker) and the driver was left to try and communicate to us in Turkish during the delay. Very dissapointing.”
“On arrival we were told our driver would be waiting with my name. After 30 minutes no driver. Rang the number that was given to me and was told to go to the desk. We waited a further 30 minutes and then told no drivers available but they could arrange a taxi which they would pay for. Queues at taxi were horrendous but they managed to get us one in quite fast time. Not what I wanted at the start of my holiday. The return transfer was perfect. Driver arrived on time.”
“I was at the desk 25 minutes after my arrival at the airport in Heraklion, arrival time of the plane was 30 minutes later than expected. They told my - not in a friendly manner - that my bus was gone and I have to come back again after one hour for more information. Then I had to wait again until all passengers for the transfer had arrived. Not really satisfactory.”
“Tempted to give 1 star however the transfer to the holiday was great; no issues. It was the transfer to the airport that has completely put me off.
Horrible communication from transfer (told us to meet at the entrance of hotel 15 minutes early to then be told he will be late because of an incident on the way - completely understandable but I was not contacted by the driver to be informed this however had to call the main line to find out what was happening)
After waiting the said time and still not seeing the driver and then calling the main line another 3 times to find out they also cannot contact the driver.
We ended up having to wait 45 extra minutes for the driver to arrive at the hotel.”
“The shuttle bus itself was comfortable, clean, and well-kept, which made a good first impression. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the driving. The driver was very aggressive on the road, taking sharp turns and braking hard, which felt quite unsafe. Several passengers, myself included, were visibly uncomfortable throughout the journey. While the service has potential, I would strongly recommend that drivers adopt a calmer and safer driving style to ensure passengers feel at ease.
Just for clarity, the return driver (Sao Rafael - Faro) was fine and drove much better.”
“On arrival we had to wait 30mins for a driver to arrive after checking in, when the driver arrived we had to walk for 10mins to a multi story car park with all our luggage in 34 degree heat, not expected and not nice, got to the taxi, absolutely covered in sweat, travelling to benidorm, the taxi was fairly old, NO AIR CONDITIONING, AHHHG, we paid enough for our transfer, these days the taxi should be air conditioned, very poor, 34 degrees with a window slightly opened plus already boiling hot due to a long walk to the taxi at the airport i think is so poor. 1 bonus the taxi on our return much more modern WITH AIR CONDITIONING at last, I suggest air conditioning in that heat is a must.”

“I have been trying to get in touch with holiday taxis regarding an issue relating to the non apppearance of the driver when we arrived at our desination at Palma airport in the early hours of 25th August 2025. Due to the late hour the office was closed and after trying to contact the driver we were left stranded and had no option but to go outside and book another taxi.
Despite having tried to contact the office regarding a refund we are no further forward. Would I book them again? No. It was as cheap to book a taxi outside the airport.”
“We zijn aangekomen op de luchthaven van Antalya. Eenmaal aangekomen zijn we direct naar het afgesproken punt gegaan en hebben we via een persoon (van de luchthaven) jullie contactpersoon gevonden.
Eenmaal onze documenten afgegeven zijn we aan de kant moeten gaan en heeft hij ons zeer lang aan het lijntje gehouden. We hebben 3 keer van plaats moeten veranderen om de gereserveerde taxi na een UUR te kunnen krijgen. Ik ben tijdens deze periode zeker 4 keer gaan vragen waar onze taxi bleef, maar we kregen voortdurend hetzelfde antwoord: Onderweg?? Persoonlijk vind ik dit zeer slechte service.
Het ophalen voor de terugvlucht was wel goed verlopen.”
“We used Holiday Taxis to book return taxis for our holiday in Menton from Nice airport.
Everything got off to a perfect start. When we arrived at Nice, the driver was waiting for us with our name on a screen, exactly as promised. We had a very helpful and informative driver and a lovely Tesla that took us seamlessly to our apartment.
Unfortunately things went badly wrong for our return journey. Towards the end of our holiday we noticed that the return flight time had been incorrectly entered on the return booking confirmation (one hour too late), and so the collection time specified would not have got us to Nice airport on time. We were advised by the driver who took us to Menton to allow plenty of time for the return due to rush hour traffic in Nice.
We started messaging and calling the local taxi provider and Holiday Taxis 2 days before the departure (before their 48 hour booking amendment cut off time) and each time we were promised a return call or message. This went on for the past 2 days of our holiday and the calls or messages never came. Eventually, on the evening before we were due to leave, we received a message saying that the change in our request could not be accommodated. This all resulted in many frantic phone calls and messages on the last day of our holiday, we then had to arrange for a local taxi to take us to the airport, at an additional cost of 140 euros.
We were promised a full refund of the return journey cost, this had not happened despite several emails chasing it.
After this experience we won’t be using Holiday Taxis again and could not recommend them. Its seems crazy that a taxi company cannot accommodate a small change in a booking. As far as we know we had entered all of the flight details correctly on the original booking, so can only assume a mistake was made when the booking was added.”
“Holiday taxis was recommended by my daughter who used the company last year. Travelling to the same destination as us this year. Our flight was delayed by 50minutes into Santorini airport. We made our way to the desk as advised, our name was written on aboard with several other names. I explained who I was and that we needed to leave immediately in order to catch our ferry. The lady replied " you are early"i said no we are 50mins delayed. There was no transfer waiting for us, as I expected. The lady proceeded to telephone someone to take us to the port. The driver cane a short while later, and drove us to the port, he was very helpful. However, I found the whole situation extremely stressful. Not something I what to experience again.
I had supplied flight number so surely, this should have been checked by the company.”
“Had to wait nearly an hour for our private transfer upon landing in Antalya - Very annoying! What made it worse was that you could hardly breathe due to nearly every transfer / taxi staff smoking where we were told to wait. The driver then had the audacity to look like he was waiting for a tip when we finally reached the hotel. Not a chance mate! The return transfer was ok.”
“Landed at Bodrum, went to the desk and they took me to a minibus with no driver. Then told me he had broken down. The same bus then left with other passengers and we had to wait 30 mins. You pay for a private transfer to be there waiting and ready. Very poor.”
