I check your website on a semi regular basis as I intend to purchase the Freehold(943 year left) of my house, when it is the most beneficial time to do it. However, your information(below) confuses me: Re: who can inherit my property taxfree @ £375K plus extra £175K IHT Allowance. a) Child & spouse/Civil Partner b) Grandchild & spouse.C.P. c)Greatgrandchild & spouse/C.P Have rules changed from years ago, when tracing the actual bloodline would be used to ascertain direct descendants?. Surely a spouse or C.P. is not a direct decendant and as such your answer should just be Child, Grandchild,Greatgranchild.
