Overall, I’m very happy with the car itself, but unfortunately the collection and customer service experience left a lot to be desired. Accessibility was a major issue from the outset. There was no designated disabled parking available, and the standard parking space directly in front of the gate was occupied. As I arrived on crutches, I was left standing outside while several members of staff walked past without offering any assistance. My appointment started around 25 minutes late, and I had to repeatedly chase for updates. The showroom appeared very disorganised, with numerous customers waiting for assistance while groups of staff stood chatting or milling around. As someone who is neurodivergent, I also found the environment difficult to manage. Loud music combined with advertising videos created a very noisy atmosphere, making the experience unnecessarily stressful. Communication throughout the process was poor. I informed the salesperson on 3 separate occasions that I would be collecting the car at 9am, only to receive a text at 7:30pm the evening before saying collection had to be delayed until 10am because the office would not be open due to office staff always “being late”, despite the garage itself opening at 9am. Communication was inconsistent throughout. I was initially told the car would be taxed and ready for collection, but later informed it would not be. I also requested a photo of the vehicle after my test drive and, despite being told it would be sent, never received it. I also had to push for the MOT to be completed. I was advised that a small service would also be carried out, yet no paperwork relating to either the MOT or service was provided at handover. The handover itself felt rushed. I was not shown the vehicle controls or features, and the car was supplied with only enough fuel for approx 12 miles of driving. That said, the car itself is lovely, and I’m pleased with the vehicle. It’s just disappointing that the customer experience did not match the quality of the product.
