“Beautiful bangle, but unfortunately too big. Contacted the store, and advised to return to a PO box for refund. That was only Friday, so yet to receive refund.”

“I,m afraid I returned these earrings with an explanation of why. They were not as the website stated I.e two pieces of silver soldered together.In fact they were held together with a fragile wire. I also thought they were very thin & lightweight so not what I wanted unfortunately. On the plus side I received an acknowledgement straight away as soon as Hersey received them and the refund was issued very promptly. Also I couldn,t find a hallmark on them? Sorry.”

“Although the order was incomplete on arrival, the lady on the phone apologised and said she would send the missing pendant. It is unfortunate that this will arrive too late as the recipient will have left to travel overseas. I am very disappointed.”

Dear Catherine, I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the size of your cross. We do try and explain on the site by calling the cross large and giving the measurements, also we show the cross being worn by both a man and a woman. The cross is normally very well received but normal terms and conditions apply and you are welcome to return your cross in its original condition within 30 days of purchase. “The chunky st Christopher pendants ordered and had engraved for a christening was nothing like the website advertised. It had a matt finish and I wasn’t happy. I did call and was offered a return minus cost of engraving but by that point it was too late for me to get a replacement. So kept it.”

“Very prompt service . Item is nice , but thinner than I expected & gold gilt lining is rather pale . Not as good as similar silver whisky cups I have bought before from different source . Sorry .”

“Honestly, when I ordered Sterling Silver grinders for this sum I was expecting something with more heft. You can feel it in the hand. When you pick up a vintage items you can feel the ounces of silver in the item along with the hallmark. When I lifted these they were lighter than I had imagined and that was a disappointment. Its mostly hallmark. At £400 for a set I would have expected some heft. The engraving is nice, the service fast and professional, the items look very nice. I've got a nice gift as I intended but I do sense I've been a victim of marketing and paying for a name/hallmark and not quite so much actual precious metal.”

“I love the necklace I ordered for my son’s girlfriend’s 18th birthday. However, after a week I still hadn’t received it and so I called to ask why it hadn’t arrived. I was told there was a mistake and my order hadn’t been processed. I said that was a shame as it would now arrive too late for the birthday. I am disappointed to say there was no apology from the person on the phone and she said she couldn’t get it to me next day because her boss wouldn’t agree to Saturday delivery charges! It took me to point out that due to the fact it was Hersey that had let me down they should be bending over themselves to correct their error. She then said she would send it to arrive the following day. So really happy with my necklace but hugely disappointed with the attitude and service.”

Hi Jill Thank you for your review & recent order. Due to the bangle being made from round silver wire we only have a limited space to engrave on. Our engravers would have used the largest size font that is possible on these bangles. With many thanks Hersey Silversmiths
