“Excellent turkey again this year -far superior to any other brand of Bronze bird I’ve bought. Very juicy with plenty of breast meat - though the brown meat is very moist and tasty too. 8kg bird fed 9 hungry people, with plenty of leftovers for evening turkey rolls, Boxing Day turkey pie plus curry. The herbs which come with it are very fresh and come in handy. I’ll be ordering again next year.”

“Turkey was good overall, although it had lots of pin feathers left on the breast which were unsightly. The giblets were terribly mean in quantity (just half a very thin gizzard and a tiny little heart) and must have come from a really small bird. Your bird was very expensive compared to other quality producers - I was surprised to see a much larger, plump-looking, free range, herb fed "special breed" one in Waitrose a few days before Christmas for £75 (not reduced). It looked very nice. However, your turkey was succulent and tasty, and the delivery was trouble-free and punctual, so well done on that.”

“Our Christmas turkey was the best! We really care about animal welfare and are conscious of what we eat so Herb Fed was our first choice! Knowing that the birds have the best of lives, growing naturally and processed on site were the main reasons for choosing Herb Fed. The turkey was wonderful and flavoursome, and great value for money. Well packaged and delivered on time without any issue. Our go to for our poultry.”

“Have been buying from Herb fed for several years, never been a lover of Turkey so the rooster is perfect for us. I can honestly say they are the best so tender succulent and full of flavour. Have to get your xmas order in early as they are sold very quickly”

“Fantastic as usual! This is the 4th year we have had a Herb Fed Rooster instead of a turkey. They are delicious. easy to cook, moist and juicy and very very tasty. As an added bonus the leftovers and carcass make the most delicious soup and chicken pie. Delivery is always smooth and the bird comes with a very useful bunch of fresh herbs and the cooking instructions.”

“Our rooster arrived as predicted on time and in good condition. I followed the cooking instructions and the result was really good. It fed us for a couple of days and there is still plenty in the freezer,”
