“We purchased our first Herb Fed chicken last year and we were over the moon with the quality, the delivery and most of all the taste. So much so that everyone that has had a chicken meal with us has commented on how nice it was and where can they get some, as we are a number of couples it made perfect sense for us to group our orders together so to benefit from the excellent free delivery.”

“This was our 4th order and it is fair to say that Herb Fed still produce the best chicken we've ever sourced. Whilst the delivery arrived a day later than scheduled the method of packaging is so good that the product was still perfect on arrival.”

“Excellent chiken (and turkey at xmas), arrives on time very well packed. Comparing it to Sainsbury free range it is comprable in price weight for weight but far beter quality. I strongly recomend.”

“Very disappointed, through I ordered a fresh Easter Rooster for the family arriving. Received a solid frozen one, use by date 25/12/2025. Repacked unsold Christmas Rooster. Even the pack of herbs were rock solid. Once bitten!!!! Order # 45298”

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent order. We are genuinely disappointed to hear that you weren’t happy with your Easter Rooster when it arrived. Please accept our apologies for any confusion or misunderstanding. The roosters were advertised and sold on our website as a frozen product. The fresh herb packs were placed in each box at the time of dispatch, so I can only assume they froze after coming into contact with the rooster and ice packs during transportation. We do hope that, once defrosted, you enjoyed the flavour of the rooster and the Easter Sunday roast box you also ordered. We have received some great feedback and reviews about these products over the Easter period.
