“Very tough meat. We haven't had it all yet, however, the drumsticks, wings, chicken breasts and spatchcock chickens were not good. About average for a shop like Aldi or Tesco value, but not when you pay a huge premium for herb fed freerange organic chicken. Very dissappointed.”

Our chickens are slow-grown, free-range and herb-fed, so we're disappointed to hear you've found the meat tough. This certainly isn't the experience we want for our customers. “Recently received our fourth order and the sausages and burgers were delicious, as always. I regularly make yummy stock from chicken carcasses that I purchase from Herb Fed Chicken and I love making pate from their chicken livers. My orders always arrive in excellent condition and I’m thrilled my friend introduced me to Herb Fed Chicken when she did :).”

“All the chicken we have from HerbFed has a lovely flavour and we feel so much better about bringing poultry into our mostly vegetarian diet as we understand HerbFed Chickens to be slowly and naturally reared with a high welfare standard.”

“Herb Fed chickens are the best I have ever had .They are moist, tender and very tasty. They are very good value for an organic free range bird. I get all my chickens from Herb Fed Farm which I collect myself.”
