“Sublime flavour would be an understatement, so happy we finally got round to ordering from Herb Fed Chickens. The chicken livers are the best we’ve ever had, and the thighs, well we could tell by just looking at the bones they were going to be good, so substantial, these birds had a life! Yet to Roast a whole bird but I’ve got a good feeling about it. All Well packaged and wonderful. Hurrah for people who produce food with love!”

“You can definitely tell the difference compared to processed supermarket rubbish. We only order raw chicken products (not made-up burgers, etc.). The breasts are not only bigger in size; they do not shrink when cooked; they have a slight herb flavour; and one breast will definitely fill you up. Ordering on the website is simple (although I wish you could have an account rather than a separate order each time), delivery is easy to arrange, and the packaging is brilliant, ensuring the product arrives chilled and ready to freeze at home. It may seem more expensive than the supermarket, but the quality, taste, and long-term benefits have definitely made Herb Fed my only port of call for chicken. There is the occasional offer, which is fantastic, and maybe a scheme for regular customers would be great to keep us coming back for more.”

“5 stars for the chicken, truly the best I have cooked with and eaten in ages. 0 starts for the shocking packaging in polystyrene which could not be recycled or reused and took up half our wheelie bin. Delivery by regular DPD. I have emailed to provide feedback and await a reply.”

Good morning, I sent you an email reply earlier on in the week With regards to packaging this is something we are working hard to change. We are currently trialling various types of packaging, priority is keeping the chicken cold during transit. This can be a challenge during the summer months. “On holiday in the area, and purchased a chicken at the farm. We cooked and thoroughly enjoyed our bird for Sunday lunch. What flavour, we love them. We return in the summer, so will stock up, thankyou so much.”

“As usual the Herb Fed chicken tasted wonderful. Delivery was prompt and on time. I had made a mistake in my order but this was quickly resoved without fuss followin a telephone call to the office. Highly recommend this product.”

“Chicken was very good, unfortunately packaging contained polystyrene - most other companies are using recyclable/compostable packaging now. Makes me reconsider whether I would order from here again.”

Hi Ben, thank you for taking the time to post a review. The packaging is something that we are working hard to find a replacement for. At the moment we are working with several companies to trail alternatives that will keep our chicken at the correct temperate whilst in transit, (summer time can be a challenge).
