“Have bought fromHerb Fed Chicken in the past but from a supplier rather than direct. this was my first online order, it arrived well packed and well presented. It’s great value for money and a superb quality product, really couldn’t be happier with it. Only problem is now it’s very difficult to buy from anywhere else as the quality just doesn’t compare!”

“Excellent product always well packaged. We really love your chicken. My very elderly father really enjoys the chicken legs . The only disappointment is that the frozen diced chicken comes in 1 kl bags and the turkey legs come in pack of two frozen together. I would be quite happy to buy these items in these quantities if they were packaged differently ie the legs separately and the chicken in 500g bags.”

“Easy ordering. My parcel arrived on time and well packaged, the ice packs still frozen and the chicken cold. We had the chicken cushion the same day, it was beautifully tender and flavoursome. Will definitely order again.”

“Having been unable to find Free range chicken readily available locally, we came across Herb Fed chickens in the farm shop at Tebay services. We bought one and thought it delicious,packed with flavour and extremely good value for money. On return home I enquired if delivery could be made north of the border. Delighted that the answer was yes! Ordering on the web site is easy and able to select delivery date. Our ordered was delivered promptly by DPD, the order was extremely well packed. The supremes and one of the chickens have gone in the freezer. We had the other chicken roasted on the Sunday. Again, it was scrumptious, used the remaining chicken for a stir fry and for a chicken, broccoli sweetcorn lasagne and the carcass to make four cartons of soup! BRILLIANT!”

“Delicious chicken and the best we’ve had in a long time. The first time I had herb fed chicken I shared an order with a friend. This time round, I decided to place my own order and I will definitely be ordering again. The chicken carcasses make delicious stock, especially with vegetables trimmings. Highly recommend Herb Fed Chicken and delighted I acted on a friend’s advice to buy :).”

“This is the best chicken ever!! I stopped eating chicken from the supermarket a long time ago, then my son became very ill with gut related problems and Herb Fed helped bring his health back (he was living on soups made with fresh stock, plain casseroles and roast chicken with rice initially)... anyway, to cut the story short, I got hooked on Herb Fed during his recovery.”

“Only tried the whole chicken up to now, but I can thoroughly recommend. My only slightly negative observation was the quality of the preparation (lots of feather remnants) Great use by date and meat very succulent.”

“I am very happy to give Herb Fed a glowing review. Our turkey was delicious. The quality of their products are excellent and higher welfare standards for their birds are important to them. In addition to this, they are a company who puts their customers first. Due to my husband's ineptitude, when we received our turkey, he weighed it and accidentally, he weighed it incorrectly. We therefore believed we had a turkey that would not feed the number of people on Christmas Day. We contacted Herb Fed and without a quibble they rectified the problem and replaced the turkey and let us keep the original bird. It was discovered that the problem was my husband's maths/weighing abilities and when we contacted Herb Fed to apologise and explain that it was our error, they were extremely understanding and they did not charge us for the additional bird. What a refreshing change to find a company that values its customers and behaves in such a benevolent and understanding way. Thank you Herb Fed, not only will we continue to buy your products, but we will recommend you to anyone we can.”
