“Vincent is a very nice personable guy who is polite and fully explains the whole calibration process as he carries it out - his attention to detail is fantastic and he is clearly a perfectionist about calibrating a screen! Results have been great after 2 weeks of viewing the calibrated screen -skin tones in particular and dark scenes on blu ray discs now look fantastic and live sport (which I mainly watch) is so much more natural looking and smooth -screen almost has a 3d depth to it!! For anyone spending a lot of money to upgrade their tv I would highly recommend getting Vincent round to calibrate it professionally to fully appreciate what the screen is capable of!”

“Vincent is a really courteous and decent chap and he improved the picture settings on our new OLED in about two hours. He's happy to discuss every stage of the process and tailors the picture to your room light and the type of tv you tend to watch. It takes the doubt out of your mind about the settings you've been tinkering with.”

“Vincent explained all of the calibration modifications and how they affect the picture quality. Running side by side comparison of pre and post calibration picture shows that I had it set too bright and blue resulting in a picture that looked over-exposed and washed out. The calibrated settings show wonderful life-like pictures with superb colours with settings for night, day, HDR and sport. I now wish I'd had my previous sets calibrated and will certainly be calling again for my next.”

“Samsung UE65KS9500 Its great to see Vincent again because it means you have upgraded your tv!!! Vincent is a true professional and clearly enjoys what he is doing. The calibration now includes HDR calibration so your tv is set accurately and perfectly. I will reiterate what I said about Vincent 15 months ago - if you want the best calibration service then he certainly is your man!!! Thanks again Vincent - see you with my next upgrade!!”

“Once calibrated the picture experience was far superior to the uncalibrated version , crispness, skin tones and colours were fantastic. Vincent was very patient and explained in lay mens terms what he was doing so easy to grasp the process. Money well spent a great service .”

“Vincent provided a 1st Class service from start to finish. He was able to compare his settings against a previous calibration by another calibrator which showed how much the picture had improved! The detail I can now see is remarkable. The picture has never looked so vibrant. Vincent was fantastic at explaining everything he was doing throughout the calibration and gave me his 100% attention!”

“Vincent was knowledgeable, friendly, warm and engaging, taking his time to talk through everything he was doing and ensuring I was happy every step of the way. He did not rush anything and genuinely seemed to love his job which made the calibration session all the more enjoyable. I have no hesitation in recommending him. The picture looked vastly improved on my LG OLED 65 B6 once he had finished with it! All evidence of panel uniformity problems which were present before have gone. Very happy.”

“I very recently had my new 4K, LG OLED55B6V TV calibrated by Vincent. He is highly professional, very knowledgeable, precise and extremely passionate about his job. A self-confessed ‘perfectionist’, he was very thorough and meticulous and he talked me through the whole calibration process, encouraging me to ask any questions about the procedure. After the calibration was finished, I did notice an immediate improvement between the settings I had and those done by Vincent. After a few days, having viewed numerous programs, including the Olympics, Marco Polo, House of Cards, Bloodline and television shows familiar to me, I was able to identify even more positive changes. My LG OLED55B6V’s picture quality has gone from factory settings (good) to brilliant and just plain exquisite. I now have peace of mind of knowing that the picture we are watching is exactly what the content creators intended us to see. It makes the most sense to hire a professional calibrator if you have an expensive, high-quality TV. I am so glad now that I set aside a little more money to get a professional calibration rather than try and do it myself. After having it done, If you are thinking about calibrating your TV but are unsure, all I have to say is don't hesitate to get it done by Vincent.”

“Vincent arrived on time and did not hesitate to set up his equipment and explained each part of the process. He looked at my settings and in a professional manner asked where I got them from..I replied 'the Internet' and some forums...a little smile was made..I could sense better things were on its way.. He took the readings and as you guessed were all over the place..too much red. Don't worry he said we'll be able to compare these settings with a calibrated one. He then took the time to go through the gray scale and all the colour settings. After talking me through what Vincent was doing and the computer noting that all were good Vincent took to the SkyHd channels, in particular the news ones as these give the tv an opportunity to show lighting, shadows and text. Vincent flipped between prof1 (my settings) and prof2 (calibrated settings). You notice the difference straight away. The colours are better and don't looked washed out. Spot on. Next was to review the blu-ray..the black bars were black..proper black..in my settings there was always has a tint in the corners..not anymore..in addition the picture was more uniform with much better detail. Finally I used Netflix to watch 4K. Sword of destiny..wow the opening scene with the mountains was amazing and the skin tones were much more detailed. The one area which shocked me was that the sharpness bar was moved from 50% to Nil..obviously a misconception that this needs to be on as the picture is more shaperer than before on zero settings. All in all money well spent and if you are sceptical (which I was) watching the new UHD on sky Q at the weekend was out of this world..hats off to you Vincent..”

“Just had LGE6 Calibration service by Vincent at hd test. Fantastic results enjoying a perfect natural picture. If you have spent money on a decent tv its worth every penny. Vincent was brilliant and explained everything perfectly. Really nice guy with a wealth of knowledge. This is the first calibration I have had but would definitely use and recommend Vincent at hd test.”

“Vincent came over to calibrate my panny 50AX802B, he was on time and well presented. I was a little dubious about having it done after finding settings on the Internet and using those however after Vincent had finished the results were far better. He runs you through the whole process and shows you exactly what he's doing and myself being a geek fired many questions at him which he was more than happy to answer. My advice is don't use internet settings and go for a personal calibration. After he had calibrated a day and a night setting my tv now looks crisper then ever, colours are beautiful and blacks are strong and hold very well and I'm not even currently putting 1080p through it, when I do it will shine let alone 4K content. If you have a high end TV then calibration is a no brainer even if it's 2 years old like mine I would highly recommend Vincent's services. Thank you again Vincent and if I go for the DX902 I shall be giving you a call. :)”

“I must admit I was slightly dubious about the benefits of TV Calibration, I've always found I could set up a new TV to a standard I was happy with. But as TV's get more and more complicated and have a mass of settings options I found it difficult to get rid of picture noise on my LG OLED55E6V and when you invest £3,500.00 0n a new TV you want it perfect. Well perfect it now is thanks to Vincent. Basically I'd set the TV up far too vivid, too much colour and brightness and way too much processing which when the TV is calibrated you just don't need. Vincent was so helpful and polite and talked me through everything he was doing which I must say being a lover of technology I found fascinating. The colours are now so lifelike and fast motion scenes are perfection Vincent has made my LG amazing, Blu_Ray is now jaw dropping so I can't imagine how amazing UHD with HDR or Dolby Vision will look. Thanks again Vincent for you expert calibration. I can't recommend you highly enough. If you buying a high end TV then the fee for calibration is the best £250.00 you'll ever spend.”

“Where do you start,well not being to boring i got into the lgoled scene late last year and purchased the 55ec930v curved model and after playing about etc i got a great picture,but i always want to upgrade so luckily ive just purchased the lgoled 65ef950v flat model its a true beast,after getting a few different settings on the net i wasnt totally happy,the picture was ok,but paying £3700 i want more than ok,so what do you do,easy answer contact the main man Vincent we arranged a date i he arrived very nice pleasant guy explains everythink he does on his box of tricks,i understood things more as he was explaining,anyway after a couple of hours he had done his job,put a couple of blurays on to test batman and pacific rim in 3d,well theres 3d and theres 3d normal 3d is excellent but after calibration you cant imagine the difference,the image practicaly touches you it comes out the set as thou your in it .the same night i watched 2 blurays aligent and the 5th wave,well the colors ive never seen such color skin tones are realist the backgrounds thou stand out like your there,the only problem after calibration is consentrating on the film because your to busy looking at the detail and colors of the scenes not to mention the pitch blacks and pure whites,had the darts on ,on skysports wow the colors of the lights etc are beautiful,rich colorful and the commentators skin tone and there clothes are so real.i could go on for ages but i herge anyone with a top notch tv to get it calibrated by the master,unless you have the knowledge and the equipment you wont get it how it should be,my oled is the best every and the calibration is worth every penny oh and it was a pleasure to meet vincent thanks”

“I have been looking to get my TV calibrated for some time now, after reading lots of posts on forums and different sites I got in touch with Vincent at hdtest. We had a chat and I decided to go for it. Vincent turned up on time (after texting the eta) we sat down and he talked me through what he was going to do and my personal preferences and he got to work. Vincent is very thorough in his work and after the calibration he made sure I was happy with the results before he left. May I just say that after watching avatar last night for the second time it was simply breathtaking. The scenery and characters were unbelievable the depth and colour is outstanding. Having had the calibration I would say to anyone with a decent TV to get it done! Vincent you are a star thanks so much for the service you provided it was nice to chat to you and to see you in action. This tv is definitely in another league thanks to you.”

“I Had my new LG OLED television calibrated by Vincent on the 4th of July and he arrived bang on time as arranged i had been watching it in the standard picture setting but i new this could be improved so i gave it a lot of thought because it is not cheap.But i had paid a lot of money for the television so i thought it would be worth it to get the correct picture. It took me a little time to get used to the look of the new pictures but i am very happy with it now. and if you want to email Vincent with any questions he will answer them very quickly .So i have been very happy with the service that he gives you. “I have to admit that I was sceptical about the relative benefits of professional calibration when I requested a quote from Vincent at HDTVtest and initially was undecided. However because he was in my area and had kept my details on file I decided to give it a shot...well all I can say is WOW!!! Firstly the service is hugely individual and Vincent takes as much time as you need to explain every step of the process so even to the uninitiated you can understand what is being altered and corrected. Once complete you have the opportunity to see side by side the difference between calibrated and your own best guess, the difference is remarkable. The subtlety in colour, tone and contrast is simply sensational and you finally get to see what the Director and Cinematographer actually intended. Simply put if you are purchasing an enthusiast grade TV then you need to budget for this service and these are the go to guys.”

“Bought the latest LG Oled 55" in May and whilst colours were good, watching sport was frustrating . Experienced ' juddering' as well as a shadow around the moving ball. Retailer agreed to take back the set but I was still of the view that I had bought the best tv. It was then suggested to me that I explore professional calibration. Delighted we did. Found Vincent via website and the result is stunning. Problems resolved and picture colour balance and clarity of picture superb. Having already spent £3k plus buying the TV set, the best investment was the calibration. If in doubt, go for it, worth every penny.”
