“Vincent calibrated my Panasonic 65" DX902b and I'm really happy he did. Very professional, highly knowledgeable and he was happy to talk me through and show the steps carried out during the calibration. The 902 is viewed as being pretty accurate out of the box but the changes made post calibration, although subtle, are very evident. The picture has more pop, colours are tracking even more accurately and sharpness to the picture adds to perception of depth. Although early days, Vincent also worked in HDR calibration and the picture on the UHD discs I've watched to date is stunning. Highly recommended.”

“I had two tv calibrated by Vincent. First my Samsung Uhd JS9000. In essence he made some tweaks to optimise the picture setting for all inputs. This involved bringing the colour in line with cinema standards and also optimising the brightness, backlight and contrast for both day and night viewing as per my environment. The improvements were noticeable with picture now looking as they should with added depth so that it looked 3D without wearing the glasses. Second was my Sony KDL HX923. I'd never been able to get the picture right on this TV. I was disappointed when I first got it after seeing the picture in the store. As with my Samsung Vincent optimised the picture and brought everything in line. The improvements were staggering! It was pretty much on par with my ultra hi def tv now. I wish I had got it calibrated earlier. Vincent will explain each step as he calibrates and also shows the pre and post set up. From charts that were out of line on the old setup to the charts post set up where it was all balanced and nicely lined up. Also he provides the settings post calibration so that if you ever loose the settings you can reapply yourself. Overall very happy with the service and girlfriend is happy as no longer try and mess with picture settings halfway through a film!”

Definitely Worth Every Bit Of The Money. Watching All The Blu Ray Films I Can Find And What A Difference Its Made , Everything Looks More Natural And Full Of Definition . What A Great Job.”

“Vincent was recommended to me by a sales person and I am really glad. Having bought a GT60 plasma I was always slightly disappointed with its performance until calibrated. Vincent was polite, punctual obviously very knowledgeable and explained the process throughout. The results are stunning, I now have a fantastic picture from free view, a stunning free sat picture and from bluray it's spectacular. I watched my old faithful Serenity and at times didn't recognise the scenes such was the depth and colour. I am always a bit sceptical of gushing reviews but am genuinely grateful to Vincent for a great value and outstanding service.”

“Excellent professional job done by Vincent - explained everything by himself throughout even if I felt that I shouldn't bother him with questions. “Vincent is one hell of a perfectionist he tweaked every little setting in my DX902 and the picture just oozes quality. He even had a look at HDR and again tweaked the PQ EOTF (electro-optical transfer function) ready for 4K bluray HDR goodness :). Would I recommend him...definitely. The biggest pill to swallow is the price (which to be honest isn't really that bad) but when it's done you will understand the true meaning of a professional calibration and the picture brilliance that comes with it.”

“So you buy an expensive TV, having fallen for the incredible picture in saleroom, then when you have watched it a while you feel its not as good as in store, you try all the settings to try to get picture you are happy with, but still not convinced you are getting best picture. Well that's time to ring HDTV test and get Vincent Teoh to come and work his magic, well its not magic really , Vincent has all the top equipment to calibrate your TV for best performance and have you inviting friends around to show off your TV. Vincent talks you through all that he is doing with your TV, making sure that you understand what he is doing , and that you are happy with result , in my case he quickly ascertained that picture was overloaded with blue tint, he adjusts settings that you cannot get at yourself, and brings TV to life. True blacks and whites and great definition, giving picture great depth and naturalness. He also sends you PDF file with all the settings he has made ,so if for any reason lost from TV you can put them back in yourself. I cannot recommend Vincent's service enough, and will definitely use him in the future, he is a true professional , and most of all a true gentleman, it was a delight to meet him. Dok”

“It has been 3 weeks now since Vincent came and calibrated my TV. I left it this long because i wanted to be absolutely sure i wasn't imagining the difference i was seeing. Just a quick rundown of my setup, LG 65EF950V Oled tv, Panasonic DMP-BDT700 Bluray player, Sky hd box and a Yamaha YSP-2500 sound bar. I was happy with the picture on the tv when using the Cinema setting, but having spent as much as i had on the tv i thought it would be worth having it professionally calibrated. I already knew about Vincent, so e-mailed him and arrange for him to come and calibrate it. He arrived on time and having had a chat and cup of tea (it was a long way to come lol), he set his gear up and started work. During the whole process he explained to me exactly what he was doing, but even more importantly, why he was doing what he was doing. When he was finished, he played a bluray and some 4k content i had, moving between cinema mode and the new calibrated mode. As an amateur photographer i'm very used to using Lightroom to work on RAW files. If you are as well, you will know the huge difference between an imported RAW file and the same file when you have finished with it. The difference that Vincent's calibration had made to my tv was just as stunning. The entire picture had much more punch, vibrancy, clarity and sharpness. Having now watched a lot of Bluray's, 4K content and of course Sky HD i can honestly say that anyone that dosn't have there tv calibrated has just wasted there money buying it. To me it's a no-brainer, if your going to spend £3000+ on a tv, spend another few hundred and book Vincent to come and calibrate it. Many many thanks Vincent. It might be quite a few years before i get another tv, but when i do i know who to get in touch with.”

“Vincent recently calibrated my new Samsung UE48JU7000. Immediately after calibration I could certainly see an improvement. Before calibration I was happy with the settings I had used, tweaked from ones I found on the internet. However, after calibration the picture certainly seemed more natural, and the depth of vision was clearly improved. However, the more I now watch it, the better it seems to get!! The colours are vibrant, alive and perfectly balanced, detail levels are fantastic and all motion judder has gone. Watching 4K content from Netflix is awesome, Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul is wonderful and Netflix's 'Moving Art' series is utterly brilliant! Treat yourself, see what your TV can do and get it done! (PS No, he hasn't give me a backhander for this review!)”

“I was very sceptical at first as working in I.T. i was unsure of whether there would be any noticeable benefit. However i took the plunge as I had paid a lot of money for my set and wanted it at optimal performance. When Vincent arrived he quickly put me at ease and with his array of gadgets began to work his magic on the TV. He talked me through everything that was going on and afterwards showed me a before and after comparisons and quite honestly it was staggering. The detail, tone and sharpness are boggling. Everything looked so much better. It may be a bit pricey to get Vincent through your door but when you consider how long you generally own a TV for it is well worth it.”

“Wow, what a difference having your TV calibrated professionally makes!!! If you have an expensive TV (which is an investment really) then you owe it to yourself to having it done because watching a utter professional like Vincent Teoh do it is an education in itself!! Vincent was so kind and explained every step, like how adjusting one area will defo have an impact on another, the average owner would not have a clue n stick to factory presets, which is a shame because letting Vincent loose on it reaps image rewards not thought possible!! Also Vincent so obviously loves what he is doing, it so translates across that it was a pleasure to watch him n be in his company, he actively almost's begs you to disagree or say if you don't like the results!! A true gent and professional, don't hesitate to engage his services!”

“WORTH EVERY PENNY. Vincent is an absolute gentleman. He talked me through the whole process, showed me what he was doing in realtime on his laptop and we had a great chat about TV's. I thought I had done a fairly decent job on the picture with settings I had found on the internet, but after seeing the results of pro calibration I was stunned. There is no way you would be able to get that level of accuracy using your eyes alone, the proper tools for the job are a must-have. I now know that when I'm watching movies, TV shows or playing games that I am milking the best possible quality out of the set. The TV that was calibrated is a Samsung F8500 Plasma (I also highly recommend pro calibration for LED's too), it took me quite a while to find one as production ceased in early 2014. After all the effort it took to get one I knew I had to go the extra mile and get it calibrated properly, and I am very glad that I did. If you get HDTVTest to do the job you will be in very good hands.”

“Vincent calibrated my Sony KDL-W829B for 2D last week (3D calibration was forgone because it's not important to me) and I'm delighted with the results. The calibration took just over an hour and Vincent guided me through the process of what he was doing and why. We then alternated between my best settings and Vincent's and there's no doubt about it, Vincent's calibration was much better. Night scenes on my settings looked washed out compared to Vincent's, which had detail as well as darkness, and day scenes looked similarly improved. I simply had no idea my settings were so far off, but as we alternated between the two, it was easy to see which one looked better and perhaps more to the point, correct. Vincent also added a daytime setting to compensate for a bright viewing environment because although it was dull and overcast when he visited, my living room can become quite bright from mid-afternoon onwards - especially during summer. I heartily recommend Vincent's services because after an hour's measuring and tweaking, the picture looks good... the picture looks cinematically good! DJ”

“If your thinking about getting the best possible picture from your HD/4K TV,then this calibration service is top notch and well worth the money. After the very polite knowledgeable Vincent had finished my calibration,we went through a few test scene's and was very impressed with the difference-he show's you the scene with the original setting's and then after the set up setting's,straight away the difference is apparent, even with the set up jig in front of the TV-more depth,colour,clarity. After Vincent had gone i sat down to watch one of my all time favorite film's Aliens,never before have i seen the Alien's themselves with such clarity,they looked like they were coming out of the screen,a jaw dropping-WOW !!! At time of writing i have only spun my old blu-ray's because i cannot believe the difference even on my old blu ray's,it's like watching a new film,it certainly has put a smile on my face,the latest release film's must look fantastic. I have 4k on netflix,and this is even more impressive,stroll on more material in this format,it's like a window in front of you.:-] My kit-Samsung 65JS8500,Panasonic DMP-BDT700,Yamaha YSP 2500,i'm now a very happy chappy. A big thank you to Vincent.”

“I bought a lg 55ec930v oled tv about 3 weeks ago and i thought the picture was good out of the box however i have used vincent before to calibrate my last tv so i was going backwards and forwards whether to get it calibrated or not and believe me if your wondering whether it is worth the money or not i can tell you it is worth every penny vincent is a genuine bloke tells you what he is doing every step and if you have any questions he will answer them , as for the picture of the tv now all i can say is wow the colours are spot on skin tones are right blacks are black whites are white and their is a pop effect and real depth to the picture also vincent sorted out the motion flow for me ,when he has finished his calibration he shows you before and after and you dont realize how wrong the settings are overall i am thrilled to bits with the picture and vincent does a professional job i would recommend him to anyone thinking of calibrating their tv”

“Got to say had calibration done before and at first with my Gen 3 oled 65" was um and agh about having it done but boy oh boy am I glad I had Vincent in to do my tv , the whites and blacks are better than my ref panasonic plasma ever was ( first time ever on any of the other TVs I have tried ) the colours are just outstanding after he had done his stuff and I mean done it no five minute job , pro job and brill explanation of what and why etc was being done and I have had TVs done before and Vincent's work was second to none and would use again on any other oled or plasma without a second thought and has also been great to chat to afterwards and provided full pdf settings via email within 24 hours ! Superb around service loads of knowledge and superb punctual service A***** made my personal setup with a off the shelf calibration disc look poor to be honest well worth the investment in my opinion. Makes my Samsung 2014 model and my Panasonic 2015 model look ordinary a total joy to watch both normal tv and also blurays and 4K content it's a shame so little available to view to do the calibration and the oled justice. If buying even a reasonable TV it's worth investing a little extra to see it at its best ! .”

“I am really please with the picture quality of my Samsung LS9000 Television since Vincent carried out a detailed calibration of the set. I found him to be a really nice person and patience to a fault. I would strongly recommend him to anybody who is thinking of having their television calibrated. Marks out 10...most definitely 10.”

“Having read the reviews and seen tweets on previous jobs, I am happy too say Vincent lives up to the excellent reviews received. Not only did he explain the steps taken during the calibration process, the patience shown throughout had both my sister and I extremely impressed with him and his obvious passion for what he does. I have fallen in love with my TV again in it's newly calibrated state ... and btw Vincent -'Pacific Rim' rocks in 3D!!”
