“Brillant service - could not fault. With my measurements, online turf calculator + added 5% recommendation had right amount of turf for area to me covered. Laid 2 weeks ago with watering + rain turf is thrieving. Big "thank you" to delivery driver/team who showed great initiative and common sense and instead of leaving pallet in most easiest spot on the drive, took the trouble to deliberately put the pallet between garage door and car so did not block the car in or block the other garage door. Many thanks”

“Although I love the turf that arrived and it was easy to lay and seems to have taken well, I also ordered seeds. Spoke over the phone to the company to confirm they would come with the turf and be delivered on chosen day that we paid for. This was a necessity as we had contractors in school to complete the work on a given day. The seeds however did not arrive. I called them and they promised to call back that day after looking into it. No one called. Since then I have been promised 3 calls back and an email - still had nothing. A chap on the phone suggested that when they eventually arrive, which can't be guaranteed - just send them back for a refund. This however did not resolve the issue of having people into school in the holidays to do work on the garden, without the seeds to do so. Who pays for their time ? Who pays for the postage back etc? There was no consideration for the wider issue and the fact that they were only purchased from this supplier due to the promise of guaranteed delivery on a chosen date. After chasing several times, I was promised twice that it would be taken up with a manager and they would email me with a solution/resolution - a week and 2 calls to chase later I still haven't had anything back. I am so disappointed as not only is it a lot of money out of my very small grant for school, but it has now put a halt on the whole project.”

“Good Turf but Leatherjackets Found. The turf was delivered and was impressed, there were a few which were torn and a little ripped but not an issue, its turf at the end of the day and would be fine once it’s down. During laying though I did find several LIVE leatherjackets which were a cause of concerns as we all know the devastation they can cause on the lawn. They were quickly ‘dispatched’ but I’m somewhat concerned whether there was an infestation in the turf which could kill it off after a single season or whether I’m going to have to pay for a series of leatherjacket treatments… time will tell!”

“The quality of the live products is exceptional. The turf I bought was in excellent condition and it has taken well to the garden since laying 2 weeks ago with regular watering. (raining). I dropped 1 star because when you order from their turfonline website they do not offer anything other than a pallet delivery. I needed to order some more harroden roots fertiliser and in the end had to order through Amazon (but still came from Turf Online) rather than order direct from them.”

“The quality of the turf was excellent and the delivery of soil and turf as requested. I was disappointed to read (too late) that the turf I ordered (and discussed on the phone as being correct for our site) did not require the low fertility soil. I think this could have been picked up from our order and we could have saved a lot of money.”
